Description: Like the waves that crash on our beaches, our islands are full of people that come and go. Like the boats that leave our docks filled with guests that want to stay, our gates wave goodbye to friends who want to remain for one more drink, one more bite of the best the ocean has to offer, or one more minute of closing their eyes and smelling the salt in the sea and listening to the caress of the ocean against the sand. We know your time here is precious, everyone comes here to escape, to go on adventures with people they love the most. Here, we make it our vocation to help you experience the best of what the Virgin Islands has to offer. Our chefs have mastered both local and international cuisine, bartenders have figured out the best way to put spirit in our spirits, and all of our staff is happy to see you. Honestly, we think there's no better backdrop to relax with friends or family, close that business deal, or even make the life-long commitment to the person you love the most. We'll see you when the tide comes in.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014

My family stayed at Frenchman's Reef on St. Thomas but went to St. John for a day trip to Cinnamon Bay. We stayed all day and were starving so we decided to eat a late lunch before getting back on the ferry. What a great idea! My husband had the conch fritters which he said were delicious. My sons had the pulled pork sandwich which was huge and they both also loved. My daughter had "the best cheeseburger" she's had in a long time, and I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich. I thought mine was the best of all! It came with pasta salad which was not mayonnaise based and was delicious. The other sides were onion rings, a side salad or french fries which all cost more, but the pasta salad was included in the price. We had an amazing lunch after an amazing day.

“Nice beach grill”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

The place is very nice and well located. Food was pretty good with a very average service. Overall a place to go back.
Just be aware that gratuity is already included in the bill.

“Best conch fritters”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

We spent a week on St John and had conch fritters at several places. High Tide definitely had the best. The view is very nice (you're inches from the beach at Cruz Bay) and the atmosphere is very casual. The service was average.

“The best Painkillers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

This is the only place on the island we went to three times. Twice was for drinks only, and once for lunch.

We came for lunch, and sat at a two-top along the rail to the beach. What a beautiful view! It was Cinco De Mayo, so they had tequila specials going. I had to stick with rum, so I ordered a painkiller and declared it the Best on the entire island. My husband ordered the Cruzan Confusion and while good, switched to the painkiller after trying mine.

I ordered the veggie burger. It was pretty standard, and came with pasta salad. I was full. Husband ordered Mahi tacos, and devoured them. He shook his head up and down while eating, and said mmmmmmhmmmmmm, so i assumed he really liked them.

The other two times we just came to the bar for some drinks and view, and we got some painkillers to go for our ferry ride back to St Thomas.

They do have live music, but unfortunately, we were never there when it was going on.

“Great view of Cruz Bay!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

We didn't have dinner at High Tide but we had drinks there a few times and had some great apps. The view of Cruz Bay can't be beat and the service was exceptional.
