“Nassau's Treasure”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

After MANY trips to Nassau I finally decided to go explore some of the roads less traveled. This was so informative and well presented, and FUN. The pirate out front is a fantastic actor. Really chatty and funny. Lots of jokes for adults and kids to enjoy. He stays in character the entire time. Young grandson (7) did not want to read ALL the informational placards, but he had a great time.

“great family fun”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

This was a gem of a find! you get to walk down into a replica of black beards ship. it is a self guided tour, which takes about 20-30 mins. theres information to read along the way, pictures and artifacts from pirate ships. once you get to the restroom area, beware of the black curtain at the bottom of the ramp! There's a real live pirate (actor) who brings you into a dark room, and tells you, in a very pirate-y voice, about the days of pirates and blackbeard. Being from the NC coast, we have actually been to Beaufort and areas where blackbeard once lived, but this guy was very good, very enthusiastic! After the tour, there is a gift shop of sorts, but the items are very affordable, then the pirate fellow was kind enough to stage photos for my kids. they loved it! we did not book this through the cruise line either, you can walk there from the port.

“Great spot to learn a little History while on vacation”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

It was a nice spot while visiting downtown Nassau if you enjoy the movies of the Pirates of the Caribbean then it's as if you were transported to their times. It was a fun learning experience of Nassau's pirates age.

Visited this place during our recent trip to Nassau with our two kids, ages 6 and 12. Very interesting museum with plenty of information about Pirates and Pirate life. If your in the area, it's worth a visit!

“Interesting Pirate Lore”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Visited Pirates. Of Nassau today and enjoyed our visit. It is self-guided and you can take your time learning about pirate culture and checking out some cool artifacts. Part of the exhibit is actually walking through a pirate ship and parts seem very realistic. The gift shop is on the small side and there is an attracted pub also. Worth the $12 price of admission and would recommend as a great rainy day activity or when you want to get out of the sun.
