This was a very unexpected treasure to find in the Bahamas. As you pull into the island you notice a great beach with many fun activities. My group did the sea lion excursion and it was very interesting and the staff is very friendly and definitely cares for the animals they are working with. I wish we would have received more time to touch the animals though. This is one of the best facilities for dolphins and sea lions I have ever seen. I only wish we had gone to the early time slot so we could have stayed on the beach and island for a longer period of time. The earlier you go the better!

“Beautiful day from beginning to end!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

We took this excursion from a cruise ship in Nassau, Bahamas. We did a "Beach Day with Lunch included". We did not do an additional dolphin trip (although you can see and hear them off the dock) or sports water package in addition. It was a reasonable price and the lunch was delicious. We had our pick of burgers, hot dogs, or grilled chicken. We were also offered complimentary BBQ chicken and fried plantains with salad, chips and drinks. We arrived on the island at 9:30am or so and had our pick of seats and umbrellas. We spent most of the time in the water. Warm and beautiful. A lifeguard named Luke gave us great info related to the area and what we saw in the water...sea thimbles, etc. It was a great ferry ride to and from and very relaxing. My daughter is 14yrs and my parents are in their 70's. It was a wonderful excursion. The ferry returns on three trips...1pm, 2pm and 4pm. So, we had our pick of returns to the ship. If you have smaller children a sports water package may be worth it. But, my daughter was happy with what was offered for us. You can also swing on a hammock under the trees. A snack bar with a bar is also on site.

“Loved this peaceful, beautiful little island.”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

We chose this excursion on our recent cruise and were so thankful we did. After the nightmare of missing the boarding of our cruise and having to be flown to Nassau to catch our ship there, the Blue Lagoon Beach Break was our first excursion and couldn't have been any better for us at the time. We arrived, after an enjoyable ferry ride, as the first group on the island and chose our chairs right away and began the relaxation. The water was clear and beautiful, palm trees scattered around with hammocks under some of them. Lunch was included in the excursion and was a simple, nice variety. We did not do the dolphin encounter but did get to watch them swim around as we were waiting to board the ferry back to the cruise ship. There were also lots of different, fun water rentals available but we chose just to swim and relax. We were there approx. 2 1/2 hours but could've spent more time enjoying the island.

“Fun day”

They were cheaper to play with dolphins here than at atlantis and didnt seem to rush you along. My daughter got scared of the dolphin especially while everybody was looking at her. When everybody left, they got my daughter to come to the side and took extra time to allow my girl to build herself to touch and rub the dolphin. After that the kids climbed the trees and my son loved swimming across the lagoon. Bring money, and small ice chest if you are on a buget. I didnt want to leave.
