I stayed here with friends about 2 years ago for about a week. Sandyport is away from the city and other resort chains so its in a nice secluded area. Yes, the rooms are old and needs renovation, the resort is pretty old but if they fix it up, it would be an awesome resort. I loved the views, the beach and facilities on site. The resort is very quiet and laid back, a perfect spot if you are looking for relaxation.

I've stayed at Sandy Port with a few of my co-workers from ZNS and we had a blast! The room was spotless and well appointed. The staff at the hotel was extremely accommodating and very friendly. The location of the hotel cannot be beat and it was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay and if i would do it all over again i would choose Sandy Port.

We stayed at Sandyport Beaches Resort for 6 nights and I wish I could have stayed longer. The resort was a short taxi ride from the airport. We arrived sadly a bit late for the Sunday orientation meeting, but Sharon at the front desk was extremely pleasant and directed us to our room safely. Our room was a 2nd story unit overlooking the pool area. The room we had chosen came with a mini fridge and a small stove. The bathroom was an appropriate size for the room and the price we paid. The pool/lagoon area is extremely relaxing and when on the the property we spent most of our time here. I'm not sure why some people say there is no food. We started every day at the walk up bar by the pool with Chef Cleveland. He was there every day at 8 and served wonderful made to order breakfasts of omelettes, French Toast, Pancakes, Eggs, Ham or Sausage. One night we had Chef Cleveland prepare a fish dinner of grouper, tuna bruschette, and a wonderful salad. Chef put out cocktails and a couple cases of beer on ice for all 10 of us that ate that night and it was a FANTASTIC meal!!! Chef Cleveland's culinary skills and sense of humor made the trip for all 14 of us that were there for a wedding a true delight. I will cherish the friendship I made with Cleveland and hope to be back again next year. In addition to this we ate at three very good restaurants within an easy walk from the rooms. Some even had free golf cart shuttle service. My only comment to the resort as far as room for improvement would be more trash cans on the property, perhaps in the laundry area and by the pool. I believe you have to have reasonable expectations when staying at Sandyport Beaches Resort. You are not going to get room service and an all-inclusive feel here; nor will you be charged in that manner. If your needs are a little more freestyle and laid back; this is a GREAT SPOT! See everyone next year!

This hotel wasn't clean. Showers are dirty. Kitchens are worse. No room service, no breakfast, no lunch, no dinner.
So there is actually nothing...

We needed to change our room because it wasn't clean. We left after 1 night. Not much to say...
Can't recommend it

I recently stayed at Sandyport with 4 friends. We have been owners for 18 years and have all 3 units, so we have lots of room. We all had a WONDERFUL time! For us, it's like going home for a visit. Everyone is extremely welcoming and makes us feel very at home. Vernon, the manager, is always very helpful and professional, and Lady Sara went out of her way to get us booked on a trip to Exumas. If it wasn't for her help, we wouldn't have been able to go. Cameron at the front desk is always so sweet and friendly and helpful. The grounds at Sandypot are very pretty. The foliage is lush and beautiful. When we were there, the ocean was too rough to go snorkeling, so I was happy that the lagoon is there to explore. I saw lots of fish in the lagoon. I even got to see the spotted eagle ray family living there, all 9 of them. Our only regret about Sandyport is that we have to leave. :(

Arrived at the resort at 7pm and the room we booked which was the hotel bedroom with two queen beds wasnt ready so Marlon the front desk agent upgraded us to the one bedroom deluxe suite. We were pretty excited about that but when we got to the room the bed was unmade, towels on the bathroom floor, opened coca cola bottle on the night stand and dishes in the kitchen sink. We informed Marlon (friendly & attentive) who quickly assigned us to another room with a jacuzzi (big plus) and everything was smooth sailing from there. We didnt spend much time at the resort because we went exploring but when we were there, we received impeccable service and it is truly a gorgeous, quiet and relaxing location.

I stayed in Sandyport Beaches Resort for 5 days in May 2014. Initially I made a mistake and booked for an extra night. This was fixed super quick. We arrived and were provided access to the room early.

Location is awesome secluded and outside the busy Paradise Island but only a 10 minute bus ride away ($1.25 each way). Plenty of restaurants near by try the Twisted Lime.

Every facility you can ask for - tennis, basketball, pool, beach, bar drinks, ATM, Bank, Massage. Very friendly staff - exemplary service.

On our last day we didn't fly out until 10:30 PM. I called reception to request a later check out and storage for bags, they let us check out at 8 PM!!!
