The Paradise Island Harbor Club and Marina Resort is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Atlantis. It is a small resort, but very nice and peaceful. Great pool area. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening. We had a 1 bedroom and it was very clean and spacious. The location is a double edged sword, I loved it for the quietness, but you will have to walk about 1/2 mile to the closest restaurant, Viola's which by the way is wonderful. Atlantis was about a mile walk but easily doable even for 60 something year olds. The staff is great and Philip was able to give us a ride to the restaurant's a couple of times and we walked back. We didn't use any of the taxi services except to get to/from the airport. The staff booked a couple of snorkeling trips for us and a trip into Nassau for the afternoon. They will make a trip into a Nassau grocery store on Monday morning for you to pick up groceries for a $7.00 per person fee. We heard that the Club has purchased the Columbus Tavern, which is currently closed, and plans to reopen it. That would make the place unbeatable as a very relaxing vacation resort.
