This was the Best vacation ever! The staff were superb, extremely helpful, accommodating, and courteous! Thank you for the very fond memories of my first visit to the Bahamas! This hotel is like a hidden gem away from all the busy touristy areas but still close enough safely walk to the beach, Atlantis, and most restaurants and shopping in downtown Nassau. We loved and appreciated everything from the beautiful fresh flower arrangement upon arrival, (nice touch), to the semi private back yards with personal garden furniture, to the everyday small things like showers with great water pressure, daily fresh towels and cleaning done by staff that actually smiled and said hello! (They sure made you feel welcome and at home). The pools were well equipment with plenty of lounge chairs for suntanning and loved having the very convenient restaurant/store! We will definitely be back and believe this is the best place to stay if you don't like the crowds and hustle and bustle or noise but still want to be close enough to enjoy the nightlife that Paradise Island and Nassau have to offer.

It was a good price and as far as cleaniless goes....I'd give it a 3/4 stars out of 5. It was more than we expected though as it had a small kitchenette and a full fridge so if you are visiting on a budget, you can cook your own meals if you wish! (Everything is very expensive in Nassau and nothing is open late!)We also had a livingroom, bathroom and bedroom along with a back porch! The staff was friendly and helpful and the grounds were beautiful and secluded. The beds are comfortable. It's not the best of the best, but it's a whole heck of a lot better than I have been in!

We stayed six nights in an upper level one bedroom ‘suite’ with a shared balcony – it was very quiet, clean and comfortable but not new or luxurious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The suites are like a small apartment with separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and sitting/dining area, outside balcony; the decor is somewhat dated. The only opening windows were in the bedroom and they were screened; the front entrance door is not screened so not possible to get through airflow without insects getting in. Both the living area and the bedroom have a ceiling fan which is a big plus; the cooling system worked well; and beds were comfortable.

The kitchen, although advertised as a “full kitchen”, is poorly equipped. It has the appliances (stove, fridge etc), a few pots & pans, and minimal crockery but not the other essential basic items usually supplied in self-catering accommodation – no dish detergent, not even a teatowel; no tin opener or vegetable peeler; no cutting knife or board etc. It’s hard to understand the lack of such necessities especially when so many guests are from overseas and come expecting a “full kitchen”.

The grounds are pleasant with lots of greenery and 3 pools. The on-site coin-operated laundry is handy (bring your own detergent) and the small cafe does basic breakfast and light lunches. For downtown Nassau, it’s only a shortish walk to the ferry which is a pleasant way to travel. We found the local Paradise Island grocery shop extremely expensive so did a longer walk over the bridge and along East Bay St to the big supermarket in the Harbour Bay Shopping Centre – extensive choice and good value hot take-away meals from the deli, but you’ll need to get a taxi back (the staff will phone one for you). We stopped enroute for a delicious lunch at the Poop Deck restaurant overlooking Nassau Yacht Haven – highly recommended.

We just stayed 6 nights here and were very pleased. This place is a fantastic value and I'm happy to recommend it. It's not a new property, and doesn't feature luxury accomodation - but rooms are simple, cheerful, clean and comfortable with everything you need for a very nice stay. Property is lovely - lots of plants - and kept up nicely. For the price, an amazing amount of space - a full-size living room, kitchen and bedroom...almost like staying at a condo. It even featured a flat screen TV in both living and bedrooms. I enjoyed the fact that it was very quiet and peaceful at night, with blackout curtains for comfortable sleep. Located in a nice, safe, rather upscale neighborhood. Without exception, staff were very friendly and courteous, and the front office management and staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed - including booking tours. The security desk helped with taxis - which were always very prompt to arrive. I was very impressed by the overall high level of service.

Walking distance to all the sights on Paradise Island, including the Atlantis and Marina Village for (rather expensive) dinner options and casino. The hotel isn't on the water nor does it have views of the water, Cabbage Beach is a 10-15 minute walk Know that you if you want to go into Nassau , you do need to take a taxi/water taxi in the daytime or a taxi in the evenings - it can add up. You can walk over the bridge by day, but it is a good 30-40 minute walk into downtown. Great for people who want a quiet, low-key experience, prefer to tour around during the day and want a nice, calm place to return to in the evenings. Not for those who want the "resort" experience, or to only stay on-property for days at a time.

I really liked it and would be happy to stay there again when I return to the Bahamas.

We visited paradise island for a medical conference my husband was attending/ a celebration of our 1st wedding anniversary. We needed to be close to Atlantis for the conference but were not impressed with the price of Atlantis since it was not a true all inclusive. This hotel was the perfect solution.
We rented a villa from a condo owner (Fernanda!) who was awesome and very responsive to every question we had. She even took us to buy groceries the first day. We had breakfast in the condo daily and lunch too sometimes. Saved a lot of money that way too splurge on dinner.
The staff were very friendly and the grounds were well kept. The 3 pools were awesome and never crowded. The room was very clean, and though it wasn't the fanciest place it was perfect for what we needed.

We were in walking distance of Atlantis and the ferry to Nassau. Cabbage beach nearby was only ok for us. We spent a lot of time at Atlantis. Other than Aquadventure, we didn't need a wristband for anything else. Food is very expensive and we had a hard time finding authentic Bahemian food. We did enjoy the Pizza at Anthony's (at the shopping center). Oh and take a walk down to Dune restaurant at the One and Only club. Amazing sunset views!

Room Tip: Look on Homeaway.com and rent from condo owners. We got a great deal this way!
