We picked the hotel and worked with Carla to stay prior to and post a week on a boat scuba diving There are many different condos available Talk to carla to get what you would like She will take care of you as she did us
Loved the resort. Slept in the hammocks, swam in the perfectly clear ocean and enjoyed the gorgeous beach
Turns out folks who live in Nassea don't use any beach furniture so along the island you will see people either in the water or laying directly on the beach same here

The resteraaunt is good
loved this hotel and will return again
the staff makes you feel at home and are happy to help

Room Tip: rooms away from the lobby if you can afford the beachfront do that they are the best

I was travelling on short notice and could not get in at the British Colonial Hilton, so I had the chance to try something new. The Sunrise Beach Club offers a good value for a family vacation or a Spring Break getaway but is not business friendly.

Beach access was good, and the pool and grounds are nice. The availability of the fully-equipped kitchen is a major money saver if you are staying for more than a day or two, and the Tiki Bar & Restaurant offered a distinctly island feel. I had a drink, but did not sample the menu, and with a 7:30 AM opening time, there was no opportunity for breakfast before a busy day of meetings.

While the rating for business travel is perhaps a zero, the value and accommodations for a party of four or five merits consideration.

Room Tip: Suites facing the pool area may be noisy

We love to stay on Paradise Island but the hotels are pretty expensive and since my kids are young adults we need more than 1 room so townhouses and condos are the way to go for us. We get more for our money and you get that with the Sunrise Beach Club. This is not a hotel and a lot of the units are privately owned. We rented 2 units, a 1 bedroom that sleeps up to 4 (unit 106) and a 2 bedroom for my son and his friends. Both units were rented directly from the owner which were both great. The front desk was very helpful and nice despite not renting directly from them. There is no daily housekeeping here or safes like when you stay in a hotel. There are 2 security guards on duty, one at night and one during the day. Both very pleasant. The day time security guard called cabs for us every evening even though that isn't her job. The on site restaurant is good too. Our units were fully equipped with everything we needed. My son stayed in unit 9 and there was a washer and dryer in it but there are washer and dryers on the property if needed. This place is much less expensive than some of the surrounding hotels that cost a small fortune. The property itself it well maintained and the pools were clean. The beach was great!!! Very calm crystal clear water. While on the beach we were asked daily if we wanted to jet ski but we said no and weren't bothered again. There is also a beach bar and massages offered. We lost power one day and the front desk were trying to get some answers for us but they couldn't get through to anyone to give us answers. Luckily it was day time and we cooled off at the beach. There are no generators here but the kitchen was able to still serve food. This property is only a short 2 minute walk to the Atlantis so we rarely took a cab to get there. Some of the units are a little outdated BUT in my opinion it doesnt matter as long as the units are equipped and clean which ours were. We would definitely stay here again and rent from these owners were extremely helpful in answering questions before we booked. Oh there is a public walkway to the beach next to the property BUT it is gated off and locked at night. Also the guest walk way is monitored by a tv. We didn't see anyone use that walkway the week we were there because it was locked the whole time. There is also another public walkway next to the Rui and I think that is used more often.

Nice place On the beach but only the larger units have ocean view. Units are very tired and need upgrading. Walking distance to Atlantis. Beach is beautiful. On site restaurant and bar is a beer and burger place, serves breakfast as well. Ok food in a pinch

We stayed here with our teenage sons. The beach was great. The one bedroom villa was very clean and comfortable for a family of 4. The food at the restaurant, Violas, was very good, and compared to other places, not so expensive.
If you stay here be aware that taxis to Nassau are very expensive.

Room Tip: Room 112 had newer living room furniture.

The restaurant is good and prices are cheap compared to the rest of the island.

The accommodations were a mixed bag: on the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, the room quiet, we had two televisions with lots of channels; on the negative side, the bathtub was gross, there were two caterpillars behind the curtains in the bedroom.

Also, the hotel had emailed me to ask if we wanted anything from the local grocery store and I asked for water and coke, but when we got to the room, there was nothing in the fridge. Thankfully, the hotel had forgotten to charge us also, so we didn't complain.

And last but not least, my mother wanted to smoke on the patio one day, but one person from the management team had decided to have lunch there...

My husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary this year in the Bahamas. After reading various reviews on Trip Advisor we settled on Sunrise Beach Clubs and Villas to avoid the crowds at Atlantis and enjoy a more romantic and private beachfront resort.

From the first night of our stay we were regretful of our decision. Rather than a warm welcome, we ran into a rude and disrespectful security guard (Ms. Burrows) whose discourtesy laid the groundwork for a disappointing stay. The disrespect displayed by Ms. Burrows was brought to the attention of the manager (Sharon Johnson) who essentially disregarded our complaints, did a disappearing act, and attempted to sweep the problem under the rug by buying a drink for my husband and I- adding insult to injury.

Wifi will cost you $11.00 per 24 hour period per device. Housekeeping will cost $7.00 per day and consist of replenishing towels (if you're lucky) and making your bed. Housekeeping staff will not clean your bathroom at all and there will be no smell of freshly used cleaning products at anytime during your stay. Bathroom tiles were cracked, pillowcases were stained, bathroom rug was stained, and an unsightly construction-sized dumpster sits directly on the property.

The pool is less appealing than the pictures posted and the food at the bar will bore you after 2 days. You may or may not receive signals for your television to work and if you do not receive the signals, office staff will do nothing to figure this problem out. They will simply tell you wait a little longer and let them know if you're still having problems. Entertainment nights on Sunrise Beach Clubs and Villas consist of Salsa night, Karaoke night, and a night where a two-man band performs. Let's just say I would rather watch re-runs of American Idol to enjoy better talent.

The only plus to this property is that it is beachfront but so are the other neighboring hotels (RIU and Atlantis) and I can personally say Atlantis delivers superb and impeccable customer service. There are individuals on this property that deserve recognition for providing the level of service expected on a resort on Paradise Island and they include: Kelsey, Tanya, and Deandra (bartenders/serves) and Jackson (on-site maintenance manager and go-to-guy for anything).

I wish I could say our money was well spent and we were happy with this resort but the opposite is the case. IF you are like my husband and I and work hard for your money, please do not spend it here. Go elsewhere and get more bang for your buck or at the very least staff that appear to understand the basics of hospitality. Ms. Johnson (manager), Ms. Knowles (bar manager) and Ms. Burrows (security guard) are undeserving of your money. This resort does not deliver quality expected of Paradise Island and I would never recommend this resort under any circumstances.
