My family of 4 (2 adults & 2 young adult sons) ate here our last night at Atlantis. It is advertised as an expensive steakhouse, and expensive it is, about $75-100 per person. First comment walking in from one son (who is usually nondiscriminating) was that the place looked tacky and was loud (no carpet but tile floor). We had a reservation & there were lots of open tables with lots of servers standing around talking to each other, we nevertheless had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Of all the Atlantis restaurants we went to, this one seemed to be the most poorly managed. We were given a table with several cracked tiles on the tabletop where the salt and pepper teetered and tottered as we ate. Two ordered steaks medium well (very large filets) that were burned black on top & were rare inside. That seems to be a common theme in reviews so the chef clearly has a problem with a hot grill. One ordered salmon, one ordered lamb or veal? All entrees were relatively tasty, just overcooked. Size of entrees and side orders are very large (to make up for other deficiencies I guess). However, they do have the best dessert hands down on the island, which is sticky toffee pudding. If you can get through the rest of the meal, order that. Someone needs to come in and fix this restaurant. It could be good if managed well and a good chef was put in place.
