On the waterfront and near the base of the bridge on Paradise Island, The Green Parrot is a welcome change to every other restaurant on the island. The Parrot is outside the Atlantis complex and serves real, good Bahamian food at a good price. They tout their reputation of having the best burger on the island, and we agree. Juicy and full of good beef flavor, it can't be beat. Coconut shrimp, jerk chicken fingers, and Caesar salad were all delicious, and we enjoyed everything eating at the bar, which was packed with locals and a few tourists "in-the-know". A great location for sunset, music, a friendly "party" crowd, and an affordable meal, we'll be returning here as long as they are here.

Great burger! Delicious fries and strong drinks! We were a little confused wen we first got to the parrot, seems like your just hanging out in someone's back yard! Loved it tho !

It can be a little bit difficult to find if you enter the marina on the other side. It's on open air restaurant/bar so there was no air condition. The constant breeze helped keeping it comfortable. Burgers, conch sandwich, and wings were ok. Service was ok.

Ordered wings, and 2 burger/fries meals. Husband said wings were OK. I didnt like the burger at all, but who cares you are on vacation and restaurants can be hit or miss....Picnic tables were a little too high for the chairs they had placed under them, so you felt like a kid sitting at the dining room table at Christmas...lol..It was somewhere different to try one night for a light meal...

My family and I eat at Green Parrot, once per month or thereabouts because my 6 year old loves the spicy fries. Food is more than adequate - cracked conch, burgers, and quesadillas are our go to menu items most times. Service can be hit or miss - but we don't expect attentive and intuitive service at Green Parrot. 50% of the time we have to track the waiter down for service! The ambiance is good - on a marina - not great for kids at night (loud music and lots of drinking). But - its good enough to keep us going back. On a last note - we enjoy it much better than Green Parrot on the New Providence island side.
