“Nice restaurant, fresh fish”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

We went to eat dinner there without a reservation.
The girl at the counter told us she couldn't seat us as we didn't have a reservation. The manager came up and seated us right away. There were multiple open tables. It seems in all of the restaurants at Atlantis, there are way too many people working, and they still are not efficient.

“Best place to eat on the island”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

I ate here 4 times over the course of our 7 day stay. Lunch is great as well as dinner. they also have a nice late night menu. If you are offered sparkling or flat water just tell them you want tap or its $10 ea. which my family of four found out on our first visit. Leonardo is a great GM. Greeted me and my family every time like we were old friends. Not only is he a great leader he leads by example. During one of our lunch visits he was in the back folding silverware in cloth. Not the busboy but the GM. Likes, the Cuban, Bronx bomber flatbread, cheese ravioli in an amazing meat sauce, s'more Dessert.

“Best at Atlantis”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

Went twice during my Thanksgiving stay. Restaurant opened in July 2013, and is inside the casino. Once you are in the restaurant you have no idea there is a casino nearby. Beautiful décor, open kitchen concept and excellent service. I got the clams both times and they were superb. The pork chop was excellent. All the salads and other entrees were very good. The only thing we were not impressed with were the flat bread pizza. I like crispy pizza, this pizza was not crunchy and seemed a little undercooked. I would definitely go back again.

“A few vegetarian items; nice marina view”
Reviewed 16 November 2013 via mobile

My wife and I eat here twice. There are several vegetarian flatbread pizzas and you can also modify some of the flatbread pizzas by deleting meat items in case you are vegetarian. The pizzas come out within 10 minutes and the service is fairly good. One time we had to convince the reader that it would not be a problem for the chef to make a pizza without one of the meat items so he checked with the chef and it turned out okay. The view is of some of the yachts in the marina.

“Fantastic Food, Fun Staff, Great Decor and Affordable”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

Renowned restrauranteur Todd English has opened his fifth Olives restaurant, Olives Atlantis, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas and it's simply fantastic. With his signature homemage pastas, wood-fired flatbreads, fresh fish and meat, and some incredibly irresistable desserts, English has knocked it out of the park once more.

Olives Atlantis has taken over the large space just off the middle of the casino overlooking the marina. With it's colorful ceramics, unobtrusive modern lighting, comfortable yet understated seating, and it's open kitchen, it's a joy to simply take in every aspect of this restaurant. As we were led to our table near the windows, we passed a colorful showcase of fresh fish packed on ice, which truly set the tone for our lunch. Following that, we walked by a very busy open-kitchen where we saw dough resting before becoming the famous English flatbreads, and fresh pasta being pressed into translucent thin sheets for spaghetti.

All of this set the stage, for a wonderful lunch of "Olives Mezze", a Small Seafood Tower", and a Fig & Proscuitto Flat Bread. The Mezze consisted of wonderful herb encrusted toasts served with a medley of spreads including hummus, tapenade, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki. The small seafood tower (that wasn't so small) included raw oysters and clams, cooked shrimp and spiney lobster, and spicey tuna tartare and conch seviche. And, the Fig & Proscuitto Flat Bread was amped up with some gorgonzola cheese and fresh rosemary.

We have eaten at a lot of restaurants at Atlantis and consider this one of the best not only because of the quality of the food but the ambiance and the staff. The wait-staff is friendly without being overbearing, and very well informed about the food, its preparation, and their beloved island. All of this, in our opinion, was provided at a reasonable price - so we would rate Olives Atlantis very high on the "value for a food-dollar" scale. Centrally located in the Atlantis complex, we will be returning here often during our stay on Paradise Island.
