Family Vacation, the kids loved it, so much to do, endless activities for the kids, great casino, fabulous restaurants. Would definitely return and recommend to friends. Great shopping within the hotel.

I traveled here on memorial day weekend with family, as 7 adults and 2 children (ages 8 and 11). The grounds of the resort are absolutely gorgeous, beautiful palm trees, waterfalls, and the pools were clean and well taken care of. The view from the room was breathtaking, no matter where your room was. Facing the west, there is a gorgeous sunset. The casino was great, lots of tables and slots to choose from. Mesa Grill and Nobu for dinner were really good, but Olive's was just ok.
The aquarium throughout the premises was amazing, everywhere you walked there was always a view of the various sea life creatures. It is the largest open-to-air aquarium in the world. Snorkeling the ruins was a good experience as well. We were able to see sting rays, sharks, and many other fish.
Everything on the resort is extremely expensive (large bottle of water was $10), but well worth spending the money. Buffet breakfasts were pricey, but you can take some fruit in your bag for later on in the day.
Water slides, jacuzzi, and the lazy river were the best part of our stay. The leap of faith and the abyss were our favorite slides. Constantly having something to do, the 8 and 11 year old boys say this was their "favorite trip ever". There was also a build-a-bear type shop in the towers that they were very excited about.
These Royal towers are great for traveling with kids, not so much as a group of young friends or couples. We spent every day on the beach or by the pools, while some of the older adults became bored sitting around all day.

We returned yesterday from Atlantis. We had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful, the amenities are countless. You feel very secure at all times. Personnel is pleasant but very slow and nonchalant. The water slides are terrific and the beaches and pool area are kept very clean. The food is ok, their buffet could be better, they have no different choices on weekends. The personnel that works on providing the wrist bracelets are not friendly and look overworked and tired.
The facility inside will need a facelift soon but overall the experience was unique, specially if you have children. A bit pricey to eat in the hotel but can definitely go back.

Went to the Bahamas on a long weekend get-a-way. Everything was just perfect- perfect room, perfect restaurants, Perfect Pools, great Casino!
It's expensive but certainly worth the money. The Food at the Bahamas Club was Supurb,, We also dined at Bobby Flay's Place, MESA GRILL, also terrific, Nobu was so much more than we expected. it was a trip!
The Casino was very, very, nice to me.
Be prepared to walk- it is a HUGE FACILITY,
Guaranteed to have a good time- if you don't it's your own fault-everyone there was so very nice!, highly recommended

Room Tip: Every room has a great view

We spent a week at the property and enjoyed it a lot! The kids (12,14,14) enjoyed being able to roam the property and enjoy the differnt pools, slides and beaches. We (the parents) enjoyed relaxing lazy river side and watching people drift on by... The rooms were nice, nothing outstanding, they were as you would expect from any major hotel chain. There are several restaurants on the property and the food is average, nothing really outstanding. I have eaten at Olive's in Vegas and the Olive's here is not even close. Eating is expensive as we spent between $250 and $400 per night for dinner. There is nothing cheap about Atlantis!! The service overall is not great, you would expect a lot better service for this type property and for the money spent. Most workers are locals and service is on "island time". We are glad we went, but this will be a once and done type of visit. Atlantis is the property right now, but It will be interesting to see what happens once the new Baha Mar property on the mainland opens (scheduled for late 2014). Atlantis will finally have some competition.

We just returned from a 3 day stay at Atlantis. We chose to stay at the Royal Towers because it was more central to the different activities at Atlantis. The water park, pools and beach are amazing! The gourmet restaurants were fabulous as well. The room was nice, but would expect more given the price. Also, as many have mentioned, there are MANY fees and "mandatory gratuities" that are added on to the final bill - mandatory bellman fee (even though they did not help us with our bags), daily room tax, daily pool charge, daily tourism fee, daily resort gratuity fee, daily utility fee - over $70 per day in extra taxes and fees. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist us if we had questions during our stay. Atlantis did have a very nice fireworks show for July 4th as well. The landscaping around Atlantis is beautiful and very well-maintained.

My daughter (age 9) and myself traveled here in April 2014. Fantastic place for kids! The property was beautiful and the hotel was well-maintained. The staff was cheerful and well informed. The service was excellent throughout the entire resort. Don't leave without swimming with those Dolphins!
