I lived at Grand Bahama 1978 to 1983 and was a member of Fortune Hills Country Club, we returned to the island on vacation in April this year.
While there I had the opportunity to once more play golf at Fortune Hills,
Imagine my surprise when the Bahamian Lady who takes the green fee's recognized me as a past member, what a welcome, but that is what Bahamians are like, outgoing and friendly.
Playing the first hole reminded me just how long this course plays, and how well it's designed.
After my final put I was once again in love, " what a fabulous golf course".
Thank you Bahamas
