We researched local seafood extensively on the Internet before our cruise and had planned a stop here because of its location in the market (we didn't want to pound the beach). We were prepared to be mildly disappointed since, well, how good could it be since it was 50 feet from a Pizza Hut? We could not have been more wrong. For $15, we got two fried lobster tails that I watched being cleaned fresh from a box on the marina and a generous portion of conch fritters. While the food was being prepared, my wife weht across Count Basie Square and scored us two Sands beers for $5. So for $20, we had the most delicious lunch either of us could ever remember. The lobster tails were lightly battered and fried to a tender consistency that still had body without being rubbery. The fritters were nicely spongy with a generous portion of flavorful conch. The dipping sauce was mild yet flavorful. A wonderful experience!
