We travelled as a group of 26.
The good- capt ricco is a fun guy and tries to make sure everyone has a good time
The trip- the itinery of the pirate ship, dolphin cove, and island with snorkeling is a decent trip. We had bad weather which is not capt ricco fault, and made for a worse trip as other things became more noticable. If it was a sunny beautiful day, I am sure that the trip would have been a better one.
The concern- the boat is a little old and could use some refurbishment to spend the kind of money it cost for a day out on the water. We have chartered boats from caymans to Mexico, and this was the worst condition boat we have chartered. He had a boat in tow to help him steer out of dolphin cove, a little sketch if you ask me. While we were out on the water only one of the engines was running, so not sure if the other one worked, or he was just saving gas. He had a crew that didn't know what they were doing. Don't know if that his usual crew, but ours had to be explained every little thing to do, so impression was they didn't know what they were doing, especially after the one mate almost crashed the boat while ricco was doing something else.
Overall if it is a nice day, I would say you could have a decent trip because of the island and capt ricco, but I would take a good look at the boat and the crew before you decide to go out to make sure it meets your expectations.
