Great little place on the Beach. Conch fritters were great and the drinks were awesome. The view was incredible to say the least. Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely be back!

“Amazing food & service”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

My boyfriend & I recently visited the Bahamas & on one of our last days we came upon Cleveland's. We had an amazing meal consisting of lobster, fried conch & ribs. It was by far one of the best meals we have had. We were so happy we stopped in for a drink and decided to go back for dinner. The owners seem like great people who cared about the quality of our dining experience. Great place to chill & enjoy a beverage and/or have an awesome meal. Worth checking out.

“For a Bahamian Taste …”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

We were lodging at the Viva Fortuna just beside Cleveland and we found the place when walking on the beach.Since the food was very basic and redundant at our resort, we decided to stop at Cleveland for the lunch.
What a good idea! Food was tasty, fresh and portions were big enough. The staff was nice (even though the Bahamians are not very welcoming and friendly like some other Caribbean destinations).
This place offers the perfect view on a nice terrasse, we enjoyed few drinks, hamburger and a nice conch platter, which is the typical meal of the Bahamas.
The prices are not very expensive, menu offers a good variety such as hamburger, meat, conch and lobster. There is also drinks and beers available and the prices are very reasonable.
If you are lodging at the Viva Fortuna… you must go at Cleveland's for at least one meal, it is just a walk from the hotel, it is not costly and you will appreciate having a good meal ourtside the resort !

“Great Laid Back Beachside Bar”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

You can enjoy a sit under the canopy and swimming on the semi-deserted white sand beach. Sip a bottle of inexpensive local beer and listen to the waves hit the shore. It's really down-home Bahamanian.

“A true native Bahamian experience”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Experienced Cleveland's Beach Club while on Interisland Ecotours. Cleveland's is located in Mather Town, which is not part of Freeport. Although a bit rustic looking, Cleveland's provided insight into a true native Bahamian restaurant. Located on a quiet, clean beach, with lots of shells, the owners were very friendly and personable. The beer was cold and the food was pretty good as well. Relaxing atmosphere.
