40 Sea Spray Lane is a typical delightful Islands house with great charm. Quiet and comfortable with just a short walk to the beach. While we were there we often had the beach virtually to ourselves. Equally the shops and hotels at Lucaya are just a short walk in the other direction. The guest bedrooms are very nice separated from the rest of the house allowing for individual privacy. Our bedroom had a King size bed was clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom and separate access from the outside.
Katy the owner is very friendly and helpful and was keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible giving us hints and tips about where to go and what to do.
Given its location and proximity to the beach the accomodation is well priced
All in all Sea Grape is lovely, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and will definitely go again.

I found this Bed and Breakfast after being frustrated trying to find a reasonably priced hotel or condo. Seagrape proved to be an ideal place to spend our first 4 nights on Grand Bahama since we were new to the island. The friendly owner picked us up at the airport and helped us get oriented to the Island. Her location was ideal as we could easily walk to restaurants and shops in Port Lucaya Marketplace or to the beach at the end of her street. A light, healthy breakfast was provided each morning and wireless internet was available in our room. Our room had a king bed, TV and private bathroom, all isolated from the rest of the house to give us adequate privacy. The rate was more than reasonable at $95 per night. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

My wife and I decided to try somehting a little different than the typical resort stay that we are used to. I, like the other reviewer, did not know what to expect. We can honestly say that we were pleased. Katy (the owner) is unique and wounderful. The accommodations were nice and comfortable and enjoyably quiet. Katy will make your stay more like home than a resort and the loction is close to everything. If you are planning a trip to Grand Bahama please give the Seagrape Bed and Breafast a call. You can easily visit the website and get more information. We think it will be worth your effort.

My wife and I visited Grand Bahamas for the first time and we stayed at this Bed and Breakfast. When I made the reservation I was not sure
what to expect. It turned out to be the best, affordable place and an extremely convenient location. The entrance to lucaya beach was at
the end of the street (2 mins walk), Lucayan marketplace and the local bus stop was just 10 minutes walk.

The owner of the B&B (Katybel) was super duper nice to us. She gave us information on where do dine, what to visit and everything in between.

We stayed at this B&B in Grand Bahamas and then we stayed at the Hilton in Nassau (New Providence). My suggestion is that you won't need big hotel amenities in Grand Bahamas island. The island is quiet
and far different from the hustle bustle like in Nassau.

Thanks Katybel for making our trip more enjoyable.
