“The best sand bar around!”
Reviewed 18 July 2013

Starfish, seahorses and dolphins abound. Tranquil relaxation....ENJOY Less people than Tahiti beach and more sea life to see! Really a special natural habitat to enjoy!

“Pretty, Protected & Pristine”
Reviewed 21 March 2013

This is a lovely place to anchor & get protection from easterly winds. It's high, rocky shoreline is magnificent especially at sunrise. A few gorgeous beach homes dot the island. It is a private island so visits ashore are by invitation only. But it provides easy access to Tahiti Beach, Cracker Ps restaurant, Lubbers Landing Restaurant, Tilloo Cut for deep sea fishing and more.

“Star Fish - bank”
Reviewed 5 December 2012

WE did not get there on this visit due to windy weather and a little rough water. We tried, but it was meant to happen this time around. However, I did visit there on a previous trip. It is wonderful. Everyone must go there to see how gorgeous the water can be and how stunning the giant starfish are.

“Tilloo is Heaven on Earth”
Reviewed 15 December 2011

Tilloo Bank is the most beautiful place I have ever been. I say this after visiting at least 20 times. The water is shades of blue that you did not even know existed! Be careful of shallow sands, it is very easy to run aground here, but no worries the tide comes in quickly

“Tween Waters Tilloo falls short of expectations”
Reviewed 25 August 2011

Tween Waters Tilloo has beautiful views from the large front deck. There are comfortable beds in both bedrooms, a nice full bath, and a small, but adequate, half bath in the north bedroom. The outdoor shower was nice and spacious, but could use a latch on the door for privacy's sake when the wind blows. There is a lot of glass all around the home, which insures views to the outside, and to the inside bedrooms as well. The lack of privacy prompted us to ask the owners to install curtains in both bedrooms. Reed shades were installed which helped darken the room some, but privacy was still a concern. The kitchen has a newer fast heating electric stove, which works well (unless the power goes out). The gas grill is adequate, but needed cleaning and propane. We found out that propane tank refills are not readily available in the Abacos (we did get a new tank on Thursday) and thus flexible planning of meals is required. The eating area inside is limited due to only having 2 chairs for the small dining table and the stools from the front porch proved to be too tall to use comfortably at the table. Both of the bedroom air-conditioners worked well. Due to a problem with the main AC unit, the AC for the front of the home was out of commission for 2 days, which meant we stayed near the house one day to let the repairmen in. The wireless internet access is available from a limited number of exact locations within the house due the router being located up the hill from the cottage at the bungalow. Be sure to tell any renters of the bungalow to reset the router after power outages. Free phone calls use the internet connection. The phone does work if you go out of the house and out onto the sun deck area. We rented Tween Waters Tilloo, "sight unseen" due to the unfortunate loss of the home we had been renting for the past 4 years. Is this house worth the $2000 per week charged? Each vacationer must draw their own conclusion about value received for money spent, and it seems some feel it is. But I, unfortunately, felt it wasn't.
