My husband and I just returned from an amazing trip to Fernandez Bay Village. We stayed in the Royal Palm Cottage which was extremely private, pristine, and only a few steps away from the club house. We wanted to go to a place where there really was nothing to do but relax, and that's exactly what we did. Many days, we were the only ones on the beach, which was just incredible. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate our needs (we're vegetarians). We rented a car one day and explored the island, which is beyond beautiful. The rest of the time we spent relaxing on the beach and kayaking. Can't wait to return!

We just checked out this morning and I am already trying to figure out how/when we can return. This place is beautiful, peaceful, and even better than I expected. My husband and I stayed in the Royal Palm Cottage, and loved it. It has a lot of privacy, with a big wraparound porch. The "garden shower/bathroom" is truly that.....it's open air (not air conditioned like the room), which I really liked. We kayaked, snorkeled, and I paddled all over the bay with the paddle board. The beauty of the bay is amazing. Everyone at the resort is so friendly and helpful, and everything you need is there. If you want to relax in a non-touristy spot, with friendly people and beauty all around you, you should try Fernandez Bay Village.

We just returned from a family vacation at Fernandez Bay Village. Three generations-and we all had a fabulous time. Beautiful blue green water that is calm enough for the little ones. Kayaks, paddle boards and opportunity to experience a true getaway-it's all there at Fernandez Bay. We stayed in a villa that had all we needed. Thanks to all the wonderful staff who were there to help. We loved snorkeling right off the beach, kayaking in the mangroves and spending time with each other.
We've been fortunate to travel to the Caribbean and the Yucatan-the beach at Fernandez Bay surpasses all.
We hope to return next year.. After years of searching for that special spot..We've found it at Fernandez Bay Village...

Room Tip: I would suggest choosing a villa with a kitchen

This place is amazing. We felt very welcome and at home straight away a place where you can remember what it is like to trust people, no need to lock doors. What made this place so special was the people, every one. Its a small island and every one is very friendly, the location is incredable for a serene beautifull location. The water is clear and invites you in for a swim. While we were there we went snorkeling, first time for us but was incredable, we also went for a coastal eco tour, brilliant for seeing turtle's and other fish. The food was so yummy, the cooks are friendly and very helpful, home made bread etc. The special tropical rum punch was a happy drink. It was extra special for us as we got married on cat Island, and every one there, even the guests would go that extra mile to make sure it was special. We would all like to say thank you to every one there and the island itself, it is something we will never forgett. Thank you. just remember to take insect repelent

Room Tip: we stayed in Shanes shack, and our swimming pool was the ocean, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean only 20 feet away. My family stayed in the villas next to them and were just as happy. Very well air conditioned, very comfatable bed. Perfect

We had a flight delay due to extreme weather, so we visited Fernandez Bay Village for lunch and the afternoon. They were highly accomodating - this is a well run, very friendly place.

Food was ok, but was bland, plain and just ok. The excellent hospitality of the host and staff was much appreciated, and a real delight.

We're happy to hear you enjoyed the staff and ambiance at FBV. We try our best to be helpful. Next time you're caught in the rain, try one of Nancy's grilled conch burgers with all the fixings and her special cole-slaw on the side. You won't be disappointed!
