Nice quiet beach. You can walk a long way out and the water never gets over your head. It is clear and beautiful!

Great spot to spend a day! Nice shade in the trees very close to the water which laps lazily like bath water and is crystal clear. Tons of shells. Walked out to the cay and found several sand dollars in the water along the way. Great restaurant across the hwy - Daddy Joes, super convenient

We set up here for hours alone in Sept with beers and music! Shelling was great and no waves set up a perfect chill zone. Relax and enjoy the beauty! Close yo a bar as well if you wish.

To give you an idea, I've been around the Caribbean and Hawai'i, so I have a good grasp on what a good beach is, or what I like in a beach. This place is definitely one of the top 2 beaches I've ever been, maybe even THE BEST. The water is the clearest I've ever seen, it's fairly shallow (you could walk hundreds of yards out and only be up to your stomach/chest), the water is calm, beach is clean, it's easy to get to, and there's hardly anyone else there. We went there 4 different times for at least 4 hours each time, maybe saw 8 people there the entire time. Even if those 8 showed up at the same time, there was plenty of room for a few hundred, so we never felt cramped or bothered. Do yourself a favor and go here.

We went to Gaulding's Cay one day and the water was too rough for snorkeling. The wind does what it wants...what are you gonna do? Luckily we went back a few days later and had a great time. It's easy to get to: beach access is across from Daddy Joe's (sp?) restaurant. The water was calm and we snorkeled around the rocky island offshore. Not fantastic snorkeling, but pretty good for Eleuthera. We saw lots of fish and more than a few starfish. And that little island makes for good Kodak moments.
