I've been going to Eleuthera since !974. I've spent most of those visits in the Gregorytown area and have never ventured away. This time I looked up places to stay on the internet and out popped the Rainbow Inn. I will let you know that I was completely floored with the service and friendliness of the staff and ownership. Richard, Rhonda, Zev and Mich are the best. You will not find people on Eleuthera that can offer you a better deal than what you find at the Rainbow Inn. We stayed at the Sheraton in Nassau one night before we left on the Bo Hedgy (Ferry from Nassau) and one night afterward.
My wife mentioned to me that if we spent more than a day or two there, we'd probably get bored. She was right. During the 5 days we were at the Rainbow Inn, we never had time to be bored. Zev took us to the Current Cut dive, several beautiful local beaches. He made us feel right at home. We jammed at night in the restaurant with local musicians and ate at the restaurant daily. No surprises, no hiccups. A traveler has to keep in mind that you aren't in New York City, or Nassau. You have to keep reminding yourself that you're on Eleuthera, where as far as I'm concerned, the clock has stopped. If you like the congestion, traffic, crime of the big cities, you probably wouldn't be happy at the Rainbow Inn. If you like simplicity, beautiful sunsets, good food, diving, snorkeling, beautiful secluded beaches, good music, good friendly company and reasonable pricing,
you need to contact Rainbow Inn.
