Where should I begin? The hotel is conveniently located right on the most beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms all open to wonderful views of the Three Sisters which are rock formations in the ocean. The food at the Blue restaurant on the grounds of the hotel is wonderfully prepared by Ben, a trained chef, who is also the proprietor of the hotel. While the rooms are simple in decor, they are very clean and have all of the amenities needed by guests. I will definitely be returning as soon as my schedule allows.

Let me start by saying that Ben is a fantastic chef, a fantastic host and a fantastic person. He pours his heart and soul into his hotel and restaurant and your stay at this hotel will be greatly improved because of that. While staying at his hotel, he helped us explore the entire island, made great recommendations to other restaurants and experiences, and did everything in his power to make our trip the best it could be. The hotel has a very nice beach, and is centrally located to just about anything on the island. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant is amazing. While on our trip, we joked that we never would have guessed that we would have the best Mexican food ever from an Irish guy (Ben is Irish) in the Bahamas! Don't waste your money by going anywhere else, this is by far the best choice for your stay.

Room Tip: All rooms have a great ocean view, but the second floor will help you get a better view of the ocean. We stayed in the "Lizard Room" and had a great view and a clean room.

My best friend and I were looking for a relaxing get away to celebrate a "milestone" birthday. The best present was this hidden gem of place. It was just what we were looking for. A beautiful quiet beach to walk on and catch some rays. Our room was clean and comfortable. The meals prepared by Ben were unique and delicious. Clair was such a sweet and helpful asset to our stay. She would help with anything and everything. Another plus was the locals that we meet along with the other visitors we spent time with. We wish Ben and Clair all the luck and happiness.

My fiance and I stayed at Exuma Palms 10/7-10/12. The hotel is basic but very clean and comfortable. Our room has a fridge and microwave, walk in shower, comfortable beds and cable tv. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. While we were there all of the sliding balcony doors were replaced.
Ben and Clare were two of the nicest people we'd ever met and were quick to schedule tours and do anything to make your stay enjoyable, including giving us a ride to a nearby restaurant to grab dinner when the hotel's restaurant was closed. We did have breakfast every morning and dinner twice at the hotel and all meals were fantastic.
They had two kayaks available to use to head out to the rocks and a small island beyond the rocks, but the water ended up being a bit too rough for us to try it.
Rovella is a sweet dog who patrols the hotel and there are also two friendly cats. We liked sitting on the balcony watching them play.
We had a great time at this hotel, relaxing and lounging on the beach. I really can't wait to go back.
The only thing that could be improved is the steps to the beach. they must have recently been washed out so you have to climb down some rocks and sand. not a big deal to me at all, but easier access to the beach would be good especially for older visiters and kids :)

Room Tip: There is an ice machine in the hotel restaurant to load up on ice, bring a coffee mug and small filters if you want to brew any coffee in your room. We were in the 2nd floor crab room which had a nice view.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights on the beginning of our long sailing trip over to Australia.
We are now getting closer to our goal and have been staying in many other hotels along the way but must still say that the experience we had at the Exuma Palms hotel was one of the best we've had so far. Ben's food is delicious and Claire is an exquisite hostess. The Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.
All i really wish to say is thank you for a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back again!
