As everyone knows the James Bond movie "Thunderball" was filmed here also "Splash" was also filmed here, at least the underwater parts. The current that rips through here is very strong so slack tide is the only way to see The Grotto, and slack tide doesn't last long. There is a mooring ball to tie your small boat to but when I was there was only one and everyone tries to tie up to the same ball, can get to be a pain. I scuba dove through the cave and there are plenty of small tropical fish with the sun light coming thru the top of the cave made for a very pretty experience. Also when I was there I saw quite a few "lion fish" that are not native to the Caribbean and are venomous to the touch so watch where you put your hands a feet.
