We had a wonderful stay. Karen greeted us with a welcome cup of tea and a slice of home-made Victoria sponge in the guest lounge. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, breakfast the following day delicious and the packed lunch in keeping with the rest.
Beautiful setting with delightful views; make a point of stopping here.

So clean and comfortable here .. except for noisy door into the bathroom at night...the bedroom in a converted stable was spanking new. The hosts worked hard to make the stay run smoothly, offering a lift to and from a walking point, a packed lunch, and a delicious breakfast.

Room Tip: Perfect place for a stop over en route. All very quiet.

The Old Rectory just might be the perfect B&B. The rooms were large and bright, and had lovely views of the countryside. The breakfast was delicious. And our host Paul kindly made multiple (there were six of us) shuttle runs to and fro the White Castle on the Offas Dyke Path. It's only a short walk to a really old (1215) pub.

Room Tip: Wifi only worked in some of the rooms.

We visited The Old Rectory as part of our walk along Offa's Dyke footpath. We had a warm welcome with tea and cake and we're shown to a lovely large room with full height windows looking directly over the gardens and towards the lovely countryside which we had just walked over. Breakfast was excellent with freshly cooked food from local produce. Wifi is available but the strength is very weak.

A very comfortable Guesthouse in a very quiet location on Offers Dyke. The owners were very friendly and even offered to pick people up from various locations.
The Breakfast was brilliant and there is a pub about 100 metres away for everything meals.
