Excellent hotel, clean, breakfast good, staff very friendly. Only down side is the car parking we arrived early no spaces so parked in the station car park which is ok but you do have to pay. One good tip is if you do park in the station unload your car before you park. Would stay there again.

We stayed for the rugby in Cardiff. Trains were excellent from here to both Cardiff and Swansea. The hotel is to a high specification and if you are staying in Neath this is the place to choose. Nearby nightlife may not be to everybodys taste but the hotel resturant and bar are excellent and have a pleasant atmosphere.

Stayed at the Bluebell Hotel with a number of colleagues recently and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The bedrooms were a good size and well appointed, clean and tidy. We had a three course dinner from a set menu which was well cooked and reasonably priced. We had use of a room for an afternoon meeting that was inviting, with technical aids if required, and competitively priced for the hire.

The prices charged for bed & breakfast were extremely competitive and I thoroughly recommend the Bluebell as a place to stay whenever in the Neath area

Room Tip: I didn't hear any adverse reports from the 9 rooms utilised over the period 12-14th May 2014 so...

I arrived at the Bluebell hotel after a long drive from the midlands, and the welcome was warm and friendly. We parked in their underground parking which they kindly offered so we didn't have to park at the railway station as the small back carpark was full. The 'superior' room we were in was amazing, honestly the best room I have stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a young family of 4. They folded out the sofa bed in preparation for us which was good. We were front facing and so unfortunately heard the main street Friday night noise throughout the night, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel, just worth considering if you wanted a silent night's sleep of a weekend. The shower was also great, with an adjustable massive shower head :) Little things please me, but these things all add to general happiness in a stay away from home.
Breakfast was in the downstairs 'La Mancha' restaurant (which was fully booked for dinner - book in advance if you want to eat there in the evening) and was to a good standard, with plenty of options available. My son ate his way through the cold breakfast options, they were happy to heat up a bowl of cereal for my toddler, and myself and my mum ate a filling cooked breakfast each :)
The staff were friendly throughout and I would highly recommend anybody else to stay here overnight. The rooms are well worth what is charged, very large and accomodating and breakfast was yummy!! x

Room Tip: Perhaps choose a back room if you don't want to hear weekend night revellers festivities.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice clean, good size room and bathroom, the pull-out wardrobes are a great idea. Good location in the centre of Neath. Pleasant and helpful staff. We were on the first floor but at the back of the hotel, so had no noise at all from the main street. Good choice for the continental breakfast. The cooked breakfasts are all done to order and are of a very good standard and very tasty.. The only slight drawback with the Bluebell is the lack of parking spaces. There is a small indoor one, and a larger outdoor one, we parked in the latter after a bit of manoeuvring to get into s tight space. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings, but did have a drink there on the first night. Drinks about average price. Would stay here again.

What a Gem. This hotel has everything right. Excellent value. The staff, service, the room and food were outstanding in every way. We spent 4 nights here and loved it. Will definitely stay again and would recommend it to everyone.

Room Tip: Had a large superior room at the front of the hotel on the first floor.

This was our 2nd visit as we enjoyed the first visit so much.
Rooms are modern, well equipped, clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and roomy. Bathrooms are modern and the showers are fantastic with no problems with water running cold half way through.
La Mancha restaurant is superb with a good choice of options available for both evening dining and breakfast where most options and beverages are served by waiting staff which is preferable to buffet and means everything is freshly cooked.
I am a particularly difficult customer when it comes to dining but the options available here suited my needs and nothing was too much trouble for the staff when asked.
My only criticisms of this bijou, boutique hotel is the limited parking facilities and unfortunately as it is located in the centre of the town if you have rooms to the front of the hotel then you will be subjected to quite a lot of noise from people in the main street which is a shame as on the whole I would heartily recommend this hotel. It offers extremely good quality accommodation, food and service at a very reasonable price.
