Stayed here on my own as I was away on business.
The staff are great and very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are a nice size with good bathrooms. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and there is a pond that attracts all sorts of wildlife.
Breakfast is great.

We recently had our wedding reception at Beggars Reach. The venue was fantastic, we could not have asked for more. The location is absolutely stunning set in rural welsh countryside and the gardens surrounding the hotel are beautifully kept. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help. The food was excellent, plentiful portions and really delicious. Will and Gill help with the planning of all the fine details and ensure everything runs smoothly- we could not have asked for more from them. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and are very clean. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we had we many great comments about the hotel.

What a fabulous weekend at this hotel. My wife and I attended our Son's wedding and Will, Gillian and staff made it a truly special event. The hotel itself, the accommodation, the hospitality, the food; simply everything was 5 star. Great venue for a wedding, you really are made to feel special. What a day to remember for our son and Daughter-in-law. Has to receive our highest recommendation. Hope to visit again in the future for a holiday stay.

We got married at beggars reach this weekend and wow!! What a fantastic place! Fantastic people! In all the time leading up to our wedding Will, Gillian and staff could not have done enough for us. It truly was the best day ever - everything ran so smoothly, the food was out of this world and nothing was ever too much trouble. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves!! Accommodation was superb. We really could not recommend this location high enough - are you sure it's 3 stars?

We stayed at the Beggars Reach Easter weekend. We had come from the US to attend a wedding of a family member. From the get go the staff at the Beggars Reach treated like us like royalty nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast was fantastic. You could have the old fashioned fry up or you could go the healthy route with yogurt fruit etc. As soon as you sit down the staff appear to ask if you want coffee, tea or juice and its there in 2 mins. your breakfast orders follow within 5 mins. Excellent what more could you want. The wedding dinner was held at the hotel and again the staff rose to the occasion.Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings and dessert to die for.I had so much to eat i couldn't boogie down on the dance floor until half way thru the reception. The rooms are small by US standards but are very comfortable with a kettle to make your own tea or coffee.I would be a miss if i didn't mention Holly. From the time we arrived until we left on Easter Monday Holly was there doing what she could to make our visit and stay a excellent time. Holly succeeded as did all the staff at the Beggars Reach. If you have to go to this part of the world you have to stay at the Beggars Reach. You will not be sorry you did.

We were invited as judges and stayed at the hotel where the Pembrokeshire Awards Evening was held. As far as Pembrokeshire Tourism is concerned the evening was a success, however let down in key hospitality places by the hotel. The cleanliness of rooms was not as expected for a 3 star hotel, there was no hot water and as a result, poor management and service with an unapologetic Owner. The evening event was rushed (Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards) with tables and drinks taken away by staff from under you which led to drinks having to be reclaimed at the bar. The Event meal was just adequate. Some things could have been done more discretely and some breakfast staff hospitality training required. Overall although we enjoyed the event evening it was in places frustratingly poor and disappointing for Pembrokeshire in our opinion and totally unexpected at a Tourism Event where the majority of over 100 guests were in the service and hospitality industry. We know and appreciate how much effort and hard work is required to run a hotel however get the basics wrong and marry that to a Owner who seems not to care downgrades all the effort of others. We asked for an apology from the Owner which he choose to ignore.

Room Tip: The rooms in the main house are little better than elsewhere having moved rooms.
