“Great Views”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2012

The views from the terrace were the best thing about the restaurant, the food was a very mixed selection. The starter of Country Bowl was left swiming in olive oil and the mains were not cooked as asked. The place was short staffed and even had to turn away customers because they had some large groups in and could not cope with additional covers.
Whilst it may sound negative there are just afew basics that if worked on could make the whole experience live up to the views.

“Food a bit bland”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2012

I ate off the specials board. I had a starter of grilled sardines which was good but I made a mistake with the main course of Jambalaya. Given I make a mean Jambo myself, it was a bit of a risk and I have to say I make it better! There was no 'spice' of note, the sausage was a bit boring and the portion size a bit mediocre. Others faired better this evening...the boys lasagne looked good and the puddings were fab. The staff were friendly but apologetic for being a bit rushed off their feet.

Food was top notch, as was the staff. View from the restaurant over looked the sea.
