I recently went there for a birthday and had a wonderful time.
We went there in the day to book and had a tea, Chris greeted us and was extremely pleasant and helpful.
When we returned in the evening we were not disappointed.
Starters- the prawns and soup were both delicious.
Mains- I tried the salmon and monkfish which was lovely, the lamb was beautifully cooked and the red cabbage was a perfect accompaniment. The fish special was red mullet and Seabass which was cooked perfectly.
Desserts!! The best dessert I've tried in a long time!! You must try the sherry trifle, lemon cheesecake, pecan tart and the honeycomb cheesecake!
Chris who we had met earlier in the day was still there at night and told us he had made the trifles!!
I can't praise the service enough! The birthday meal definitely left us in high spirits, can't wait to go again!

This is a lovely Italian restaurant just outside of Tenby with stunning views out to sea, we've been for a lazy Sunday lunch, several Saturday evenings and most recently a Thursday evening with the bonus of live music.
Two course for £12.95, lovey selection to choose from, muscles to start in a dreamy sauce and the Pizza of the day, yummy.
The staff are very attentive and polite.
A lovely evening complimented by some live guitar music from a local lad James, with a great voice.
Will be back soon.

We ate here this evening and were extremely impressed. Service was excellent from initial arrival right through. Very wide menu and great atmosphere in the restaurant. We all enjoyed our food very much and have booked again for tomorrow night. The quality overall here is first class and does not compare to its nearest local pub serving food - the Lydstep Tavern which is on a par price wise however a totally different experience. Waves is clearly run by professionals who we would guess to be a family run operation as clearly they care about their customers. Excellent.

I have now experienced two visits at lunch time to this delightful resturant. The views are wonderful, the service both friendly and professional and the food very good and reasonable. Whenever we are back in Pembrokeshire guess where we will head for a leisurely lunch.

Having visited Waves Restaurant three times last year on our visit to Pembrokeshire, unfortunately this year we were disappointed. On booking, we were told that a large party of 21 were due in at 5.30, so we offered to come in at 6.30 to allow for this group to be accommodated. On our arrival however, it was clear that this large group had yet to be seated meaning that we waited around 40 mins between ordering our meal & being served. It seemed a very long time to have to wait considering we were told they had actually pre-ordered their food. There were plenty of other diners in the restaurant that evening so perhaps a member of staff should have been dedicated to them, whilst the majority of staff attended to the large group. The food was nice (when it arrived) but it is not cheap & there are many other places to eat in the area. Felt let down - to the point of not bothering again.
