“Lovely house in the heart of picturesque Solva”
Reviewed 31 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We had a fantastic family holiday with 10 of us enjoying the space and luxury of Llys Aber. Being in the heart of Solva was perfect for us with everyone enjoying easy access to shops pubs beautiful walks and beaches - right from the front door. The house had everything we needed and more for a perfect relaxing week - thank you.

“Beautiful house and location”
Reviewed 17 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

I've never stayed in a nicer "holiday house" than this one. Little touches everywhere to make it feel like a luxurious home - lovely, tasteful furnishings and the best-equipped kitchen I've ever seen outside my own home! The feeling that someone had put their heart and soul into decorating and furnishing the house rather than looking for the cheapest and most hardwearing items. Fantastic for extended families due to the size of the eating area, great garden and number of bathrooms. Great location right in the heart of Solva harbour and so near to St David's. Also recommend the Cambrian Inn up the road wholeheartedly. Would love to stay at Llys Aber again.

“Great house in lovely location”
Reviewed 3 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

This is a great house, comfortable, clean and well furnished for large groups and extended families. We have stayed several times and the quality has always been the same. It is a sympathetically restored old cottage, so expect a few creaky floor boards. The location is ideal in Lower Solva, there are plenty of walks straight from the door onto the coastal path, and for any one wanting to launch boats/canoes the harbour is only a few steps away.
We will stay there again.

“Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 18 June 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Gang of ten 50 somethings who go on a walking holiday in UK each Easter, descended on Llys Aber this year and were knocked out by the accommodation. Best place we've stayed .... and we've been to some pretty good ones in the past. Wanted for nothing- warm, comfortable, well decorated and next door to a pub! Brilliant base for some lovely walks or just to sit in the sunshine in the garden. Booked somewhere else for next Easter but I'd like to go back to Llys Aber in the future.

“A wonderful house in a wonderful location”
Reviewed 18 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

All my comments are positive.
Nice people to deal with.
Super house (There were 10 of us staying for a week).
Right on the harbour at Solva.
Only 3 miles from St. Davids.

“Lovely house in excellent location”
Reviewed 18 June 2013 for a stay in December 2012

We were a group of friends staying for new year. The house was excellent for 10 people. The kitchen was a bit small and lacking a few basic utensils. The bedrooms were good and the sitting room and dining room seated us all very comfortably. We did not use the other small sitting room at all.

“Perfect Holiday Rental for a large Family”
Reviewed 2 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

As a family, we decided to celebrate my son's 40th Birthday together.
There were 10 of us in all ranging from 3 years old to 63 years old.
Myself and my wife were the first to arrive at the property which was perfect for our needs and spotlessly clean.
It was also fully equipped as if it were my home, Sat TV, (2) five bedrooms, mostly en suite, two lounges, open fire, dishwasher, laundry facilities, the list could be endless, but you can see my priorities!
As a family, it made our stay in Wales a very happy and contented week, the people of the area were very welcoming, the pubs and restaurants very good, local shops perfectly adequate, all in all a 5 star recommendation, and to top it all, for 10 people in a peak holiday week, extremely reasonably priced
