“Average food, shoddy service. ”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

Beautiful area. We popped in for a bite to eat, and in all fairness I did notice that the cafe did have a large party in. We ordered our food, tuna panini, chips, nachos, wedges, and drinks - the drinks came and went and then we sat and waited, and waited and waited for our food, I asked 2 people twice if our food was on route - none of them got back to me or even acknowledged me!! A bit of communication please ladies!!! Even when the food arrived late and all our coffees were gone we didn't hear the word "sorry" no apology was offered. Or replenishment if drinks offered. Would We go back again - no. Food average, over priced and sullen shoddy service.

“Fabulous surprise”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

Four of us had a CaribbeAn buffet meal and we were blown away with how tasty everything was.
Followed by fabulous puss including a superb rice pud, we would definitely go back!

“Lovely service and delicious food”
Reviewed 22 May 2014 via mobile

The staff here are wonderful - really friendly and very helpful. Our sandwiches came out quickly and there was plenty of food. We sat outside by the water and it was a lovely meal.

“Frozen chips??!!!!”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Visited here with friends, it was not exactly late, about 8pm on a Friday evening and yet we were told like a lot of people it seems that the fryer was about to be turned off!! No menu given, sarcastic comment when we ordered diet cokes!! The fish was actually very nice but the chips were awful, hard and definitely frozen. £8.95 for fish and chips of this standard is quite frankly ridiculous. Two of our party just asked for chips expecting a large plate of them but instead were brought a tiny amount in a cereal bowl?! Will not be visiting again...

“Either an off day or I've got high expectations...”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Myself and a couple friends stopped here after a day of travelling. We were all hungry and tired, so to be honest a lightly sautéed wellie would have been a welcome tea. Sadly we decided to forego the wellie and eat here......oh how I miss that wellie. The service was brusque to say the least, no menu was provided when asked.......and oddly enough, as others have commented, the much lamented 'fryer' was about to go off. (I saw said fryer later and frankly she did look a bit off). So there was a choice of chips, fish, fish and chips and some veggie option. As we hadn't seen a menu we had no idea how much we would be charged, so it came as a shock to find that a dozen frozen, badly cooked chips in a tiny bowl set us back over £2. Not much change out of £10 for fish and chips. This place was utterly shocking....avoid if possible, or even better try Rowlies in Pembroke, they were exceptional.
