We are just home from an amazing week in sunny Solva made more special by staying in such a lovely, clean, perfect location cottage. Completely equiped with everything you need for a splendid stay and dog friendly too. We recommend the Cambrian Inn and Thirty Five for lunch. Walk the coastal path, which is in the doorstep to St Davids for a well earned drink in The Bishop Inn. The Solva Regatta was also an added bonus in August and wonderful to watch. Would highly recommend a stay in Mill Cottage, Solva.

1 review We have just comeback from a week's stay in Mill Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable in a beautiful place. The bluebells were all out in the woods at the back of the garden. It was very peaceful as we sat in the garden with a glass of wine (or two)!! Solva is a wonderful place to stay and the walks are stunning. We also met some very nice people whilst staying there. We would definitely recommend you stay in Mill Cottage. It has everything you need in a wonderful place.

Visited Mill Cottage in April with my dad. We love walking and have always wanted to visit St Davids so for his 70th birthday I booked us a 4 night break. Phil the owner was great with the e-mails and info. Easy to find and spotlessly clean when we arrived. Plenty of local info in the cottage and only about 100 yards from the coastal path. Fantastic walks and scenery. The harbour inn across the stream had great food and beer at good prices. All very dog friendly so my next visit will be with my husband,daughter and 2 dogs. Thanks Phil see you again soon.

Had a wonderful stay in Solva, which is a beautiful place that you can fully relax the moment you get there with stunning views and a lovely pace of life. Mill Cottage is tucked away behind the main street, which allows you to be literally a moment away from the harbour - bliss! The cottage has a lovely warm feel to it and is nicely furnished, comfortable beds and all mod cons that you expect in a home, including wifi. The layout we loved, with the upside down house as the living area is upstairs with one big open space for kitchen, dining and living area making it light and airy but still cosy with a lovely wood fire plus plenty of heat storages. The bedrooms are really nice and comfortable. We had a great Easter there and felt at home the moment we arrived. Our dog loved the house too! Plenty of lovely eating places in Solva and the wonderful coastal paths can take you to the beautiful beach at Newgale or to St David's with its stunning cathedral and if like me you love to run - then this is the place to be!
