Victoria Lodge is an amazing converted chapel with absolutely everything one could ask for. The Chapel has been wonderfully and tastefully converted and our family loved it! My little boy who is just 2 1/2 yrs was running from room to room going "wow mamma...wow look, its so pretty!" it was just wonderful for him to have a large a place to rumble around in and a pretty garden for him to run around in too.
The chapel was very well looked after and has an awesome kitchen with all you could possibly need when cooking for a large family.
The owners also ring you up to check all is in order and ask how your holiday is going - plus they leave a little box of chocolates when you arrive - which was a nice touch :-)
All in all a very enjoyable stay in a quaint and peaceful village. it was almost hard to get out an explore Wales because it was so nice just to relax in this beautiful place.
I cannot wait to bring my family back :-)

Thank you Julie andf Clive!

“Brilliant location and superb accommodation”
Reviewed 2 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed at this house for a week, with our two daughter's, their partners and our two granddaughters. The photographs on this site do not do Victoria Lodge justice.
The layout was perfect for us, with my wife and I sleeping in the double bed, with en suite and walk in wardrobe, located on the ground floor, where there was also a very spacious, fully equipped kitchen and .
The first floor was a couple of reception areas and a large lounge area which was spacious enough for the whole family to relax in.
The top floor included two double bedrooms with a bathroom between, and one of the rooms also had a cot for our youngest granddaughter and a single bed for our other granddaughter.
The owners pay a lot of attention to detail to ensure that people booking this property have as enjoyable stay as they can.
The location is ideal for touring around Snowdonia, with Portmeirion, Portmadoch, Conway, Caernarfon, Llandudno, Anglesey and Colwyn Bay all in easy reach, and just down the road there is Betws-y-Coed.
All our family thoroughly enjoyed our holiday home and the local tourist attractions and sights.

“A superb, lavishly equipped, exceptionally spacious and tastefully furnished property.”
Reviewed 22 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

As a 'holiday cottage' Victoria Lodge is very unusual and the adaptation is itself interesting and intriguing. Ideally suited to accommodate three couples or six adults with a cot available and folding bed in addition. Very convenient for the village shop, pub, restaurant and chapels and there are lots of good walks from the doorstep ranging from easy to strenuous. The attractions of Snowdonia are not too far away, including Bodnant Garden, Betws-y-coed and the Ffestiniog Railway. At the time we stayed (mid-March) the price was very reasonable.
