“Fantastic location and wonderful cottage”
Reviewed 30 September 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Our stay here was fantastic. The cottage is very clean, tidy and well presented. Everything you need is supplied and we arrived to a lovely welcome pack and a card. These little touches really make a difference and I shall definitely be passing on your details to friends and family who would like to rent in Wales. Beautiful surroundings and ideally located to visit the entire region. It has taken me a little while to write this review as I do not usually bother but felt the need to this time as the experience in this property was amazing.
Thank you Both for your wonderful hospitality

“Brilliant Cottage set in a Lovely Location!”
Reviewed 5 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed at Dolmurgoch for one week and loved every bit of it! The cottage is very well equipped with modern appliances, complimentary toiletries and a welcome hamper. Having free Wi-Fi is a big convenience and it's also surprisingly fast! A Chromecast is also included which came in handy for catching up on TV shows and more. Location wise Dolmurgoch is lovely! Surrounded by the stunning countryside and just a stones throw away from many attractive local villages with everything you need. Highly highly recommended!

“Great cottage - highly recommended”
Reviewed 25 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We picked this cottage as it is pretty central with a number of attractions in easy reach and good walking straight out of the front door. It was a good choice.

Well equipped with a very good starter pack including tea, milk, eggs, butter, bread and wine) - more expensive cottages take note this is really handy. Not only can you have a brew when you get there but you've got the basics of breakfast if you arrive late. Comfy lounge with WiFi and Chromecast, very comfortable beds and plenty of towels. There's not much I can suggest to improve it without being really picky but a radio in the bedroom and blackout blinds in one of the bedrooms to stop your daughter trying to wake us as soon as the sun came up.....(to be fair I've yet to stay in any cottage that has them) is about all I can come up with. Otherwise it's spot on. Oh and a midday check out means you can have a bit of a lie in on the last day too!
The train station is a 5 min walk away, the Spar and Pub 15 mins the other way and there's a Co-Op in Llanrwst just up the road.
Really pleased with this place, we'll be back next year.

lovely quiet location, cottage had everything you needed.very clean & tidy .no mobile phone signal though which was fine by us! the outside needs a little bit of a tidy up & if it had bbq equipment it would have got a 5 star rating. enjoyed staying there & would definately use again.thankyou to the owners we had a great stay.

Management Response
13 Jul 2015
My wife Eira Wyn agrees with the guest about "outside could do with a little bit of a tidy up". However I prefer the wild flowers, ferns and mosses, which grow in abundance around the cottage - so sorry but no change.

“Great location, great house in every way”
Reviewed 27 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This was a great house to stay in, in a great location, off the beaten track- but just 5 mins walk from Pont y Pant station. The house is very well furnished and equipped, and a delight to stay in.

“Cosy cottage in beautiful location”

We stayed for a week at Easter and were lucky to have brilliant weather. The cottage is at the end of a quiet lane next to a bubbling stream with wonderful views all around. The cottage has everything you need including a wood burner which keeps the living room nice and warm on an evening. Beds are very comfortable. We spent most of the week out walking - you can do quite a lot of walking from the door of the cottage (a good one to do is to walk over the hill to visit Ty Mawr) but also short drives take you to stunning places to walk including Snowdon. There are plenty of places to eat in Betws y coed (best meal we had was at the Waterloo hotel), the main pub in Dolwydellan has closed down but you can eat in the hotel there - you need to book.

Had a lovely stray in Dolmurgoch in December despite the welsh weather. It is ideally situated within Snowdonia and a lovely place to stay.
