Along side the main road, Einion House manages to provide a friendly welcoming environment with a professional, experienced efficiency. Alvin and David have put a lot of care into the set up of their rooms, with quality furnishings and fittings, and every amenity the traveller could need. We were lucky enough to stay in Room 2, overlooking the back yard, and the paddocks out towards the sea and the view through the large picture window was beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast in the dining room was very good, with fresh fruits, cereals and hot breakfast cooked to order. Enion house exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thank you very much for your kind comments and for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. We both greatly appreciate your time, whilst touring.
We hope, though a short Visit with us at Einion House, you managed to sample Friog beach & Fairbourne (the land that time forgot). Sorry you didn’t have time to walk to the Blue Lake or to Barmouth Bridge; though we do hope you are continuing to enjoy your tour of Britain, through your continued journey to Northern England and Scotland.
Thank you again.

Alvin and David run Einion House with the warmth and friendliness of old friends, the smooth efficiency of hoteliers, the well-honed culinary skills of your mother and the extensive area knowledge of a local tourist guide. Not only do they make you feel at home from the post-arrival cuppa to the final wave as you depart, they have really thought of everything in the well-appointed rooms overlooking the rural charm of the sheep-dotted fields next door and the views of the estuary beyond. In the cosy guests' lounge, over a glass of Australian red and a game of scrabble, you can watch the whims of the Welsh weather outside. Everything was very tastefully furnished, combining a reverent acknowledgement of the history and age of the building with sensible attention to modern details. We stayed only two nights but could have stayed two months. All in all, not just a place to stay the night as you pass through,
but a place to remember.

Room Tip: choose any room - all have sea views

We were recommended this B&B by a local and stopped off here about 8pm at night after spending the day walking Cadair Idris. Alvin was incredibly welcoming considering we arrived so late in the day without much prior notice. This B&B is really clean, and modern. The views of the Mawddach Estuary were spectacular too.

We had a restful stay and in the morning we were served an excellent cooked breakfast...again with the views! Alvin was really chatty and helpful throughout and it was obvious he really enjoyed his job! We were recommended to walk up to the Blue Lake just above the B&B, which we did and it was fantastic. Go and see for yourself!

Eat at Cafe Indiana, about a mile away in Fairbourne.

Room Tip: Top floor at the back of the B&B for amazing views!

Our two night stay at Einion House was very enjoyable. We have a three year old and wanted a family room, it did not disappoint. All facilities were provided and in excellent condition with a TV in both rooms this allowed us to stay up longer when he had gone to bed. Views from our room to the rear of the property over to Fairbourne and Barmouth beyond were glorious. Alvin and David were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was superb. They were very knowledgeable about the area and very interested in their guests. I also like the idea of the bar and next time we visit we will make sure we bring the baby monitor so we can make full use of it! The stay made my return to Fairbourne after 30 years very special.

Room Tip: If you have small children then the family room is perfect as there are two beds and a tv so you do not all have to go to bed at the same time. Teh beds are also low so little fear of toddlers falling out of the beds!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and your kind comments. We are both pleased we were able to make your stay with us an enjoyable one, and that you enjoyed our breakfast. We hope you were not aching too much after your climb up Cader Idris, and were able to make the most of the Sunday and your trip to Barmouth before heading back home.
Thank you again.
