The warmest welcome I've ever had, superb spotlessly clean quiet room. Sheets and blankets available as an alternative to duvets. Great breakfast. Great location. A brilliant experience! Many thanks to Alvin and David, hosts par excellence!

Room Tip: Don't pass this one by!

We were pleased to hear your tour of many of the steam trains in North Wales from Blaenau Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland, Tal-Y-Llyn, Vale of rheidol railway was very enjoyable and that you managed it all by travelling by Public Transport, which we were impressed with as it must have taken some organisation. We do also hope you enjoyed being back to Fairbourne from a nostalgic point of view too. We would both like to thank you very much for your very kind comments and for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. Thank you again very much

We have just come back from a family outing to the area for our daughters 21st birthday. We used three rooms, two doubles and one king size, we all had "room envy" for the king size room which was more like a small suite with views to the front and back, very nice!! All of the rooms were very clean and presentable, the breakfast was a perfect portion size and very tasty. I would have liked to know a little bit about the history of the house and although there are some very good photographs in the entrance lobby if there is any additional information you might consider putting it into the information pack, perhaps a little winter/ closed season project. Alvin and David have done a lovely job with the interior and exterior, the exterior photo doesn't do it justice! As keen road cyclists we were interested to find out that there is a bike lock up available. Well done guys, keep up the good work!

Room Tip: All three rooms were lovely but the king size was slightly more spacious.

Thank you very much for choosing Einion House B&B to stay, for your daughters 21st Birthday weekend, which we hope she enjoyed. We were pleased to hear you had a relaxing and enjoyable time in Barmouth and on Fairbourne beach, as well as your day cycling with tandems at Lake Vyrnwy. We also hope you managed to walk to the Blue Lake or agree an alternative activity, to make the most of the day, before having to head back home.
We would both like to thank you very much for your kind comments and suggestions and for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor.
Thank you again very much.

This B&B was everything you could expect. Whilst not so easy to find on a dark and wet evening, we were treated with a delightful welcome (hot tea and cake), and our luggage was spirited upstairs to our room. The room was large with an en-suite. Fixtures and fittings were outstanding; the only possible omission was a face-cloth. Both bathroom and bedroom were very clean. Non-allergenic pillows were provided. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and of high standard. The breakfast was everything you could wish for!

TIP: go into Fairbourne (just down the road) for the best Indian food!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with ocean views

Your trip to Taly-Y-Llyn steam railway, walk to Fairbourne beach and your Indian meal at Café Indiana, we hope helped you both enjoy your stay in this area of Wales.
We do also hope you enjoyed the rest of your tour of Wales and England after you left us.

Definitely one of the most lovely B&Bs we have ever stayed in! A short and pleasant walk from the town centre and we arrived at Enion house, where Alvin welcomed us with warmth and friendliness. He kindly gave us helpful suggestions about where to see around the area (which we followed), and showed us the way to explore the mysterious Blue Lake in the mountain (which is such a pleasant surprise!). This is the most amazing thing about Fairbourne--you get to explore the beauty of the mountains and you can also sit by the seaside and enjoy the stunning scenery of the sunset! The guest room was brand-new, clean and crisp, well-decorated and includes many thoughtful small items to make you feel more at home (ah almost forgot to mention the delicious breakfast).Would definitely love to visit again! Thank you very much Alvin:)

After driving for 6 hours it was truly fantastic to be greeted with the welcome of you must be shattered, so would you like a cup of tea. David and Alvin were so friendly and helpful, couldn't have done more to make our trip memorable. I was in area for the annual 'Race the Train' and I could not have done this if it was not for the hearty breakfast provided. The little touches of the Ferrero Rocher on the tea cups and the soft pillows makes this B&B feel like a 5 star hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view.

Congratulations again on beating the train at Tal-y-Llyn’s steam railway “Race the train” and doing so well, and that you enjoyed it too despite the weather.

If there is a better B&B I would be surprised. Personal service from the moment we approached the front door. Alvin immediately shows that he appreciates your custom by offering to carrying bags from car to room and offering a welcome refreshment. The whole house is immaculately clean and our room, a large double on top floor looking towards the coast was beautifully decorated and furnished. The bathroom is superb with large fluffy towels and provided with quality toiletries. A tray with more than sufficient tea/coffee and biscuits was always available. A good quality flat screen tv was also provided. Bed was large double and very good quality bedding a very nice feather duvet which my Wife loved although it wasn't cold enough to do itself justice. Breakfast ample and served by Alvin, nicely cooked by David in light and bright large room overlooking meadow/marshland towards coast. There is also small bar in lounge which very handy as nearest pub. is quite a distance away.
My Wife and I have no hesitation in saying nobody can be disappointed after staying here and I'm sure we will return at some time.
On leaving Alvin again almost insisting he assists with bags to car but really this is above what you expect at B&B and I'm still fit enough to be able to carry out this task!
Thanks Alvin and David for a memorable and very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Can only vouch for our large double but I understand all rooms are of same standard but slightly sma...

Our stay in Einion House was spotless. From the first to the last moment. We were personally welcomed and offered tea upon our arrival. This is very nice touch. We had a familly room on the second floor. It had large bedroom with wonderful view over the meadow with sheeps and sea. The second smaller seperate bedroom had view to hills. Both rooms had very confy beds and tvs with big variety of channels and tea making facilities. You do not see kettle for tea in rooms very often. We found that very usefull. And variety of tea, coffee, chocolate and cookies in your room. Better than at home. Also bathroom, clean and cleaner. Whole house was nice. And fast free wi-fi in room, very nice.
Plus very tasty Welsh full-cooked breakfast, fresh fruit salad, juices and cereals. It had took a long time before you were hungry again :)
We came to Wales because of Race the Train event in Tywyn. So we were busy on Saturday (if you are runner this race is very nice). But for Sunday we were totally unprepared. But David and Alvin suggested very nice trail from Dolgellau to Barmouth along the river.
I can honestly recommend Einion house to anyone who wants to spend nice time in Welsh countryside with superb service.

Congratulations for taking part and beating the Train on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway on “Race the Train” weekend. We were also pleased to hear you enjoyed your walk along the Mawddach Trail from Dolgellau to Barmouth. Also you were our first guest not from Britain to take part in “Race the train” so we were impressed you came all the way from Prague. We would both like to thank you very much for your very kind comments regarding your stay with us and also for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor, which we both greatly appreciate.
