“Great view”
Reviewed 27 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Nice place to get away from it all and even though the weather was unpredictable the cabin was still very cosy with the heater on. Great views of the Rhinog from the cabin. The only downside, for me, was that there was no internet connection at the cabin, which should not be a problem if unlike me your not working. Otherwise great place!

Dear Martin,
Many thanks for your review and I am delighted that you found the cabin comfortable.
I do wish I could do something about the weather, you had a terrific amount of rain.
In relation to internet connection, there is free wi-fi in the office but at this time, unfortunately it does not cover the site.
Thank you again for taking the time to leave the review.
Kindest regards,
Barry

“Absolutely Wonderful Short Break”
Reviewed 16 August 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I decided to book a couple of days away at last minute as a surprise to my Other half.
After searching the net I found this cabin, I emailed regarding a short break there and swiftly had a reply back from Barry. A couple more emails and a friendly phone call to Barry and it was all set, we were off the next morning.
I have holidayed around this area many times and also at the log cabins at Bronaber.
On this occasion we had a wonderful few days.
The Cabin has amazing views over the Rhinog mountains. It was pleasure enough to sit with a cup of tea at breakfast or evening and look out from the large glazed front area of the cabin.
The cabin itself has plenty of space, even for our 2 year old to run around, it was clean and tidy, also very warm which was great as it was still quite cold weather out whilst we were there.
Our little one loved nipping out to see the two little ponies in the field just a few yards from the cabin. And also made use of the, what looks to be recently renovated, play area on the site.
Another great thing about this site was the lovely clear dark skies at night, i did take one of my smaller portable telescopes with me to make use of this.
All in All we had a great couple of days and didnt want to leave.
We certainly will be returning :)

“Nice spot”

I am in a bit of a quandary as to what to put about this cabin as we gave it a mixed review really. The park where it is located is stunning with a great view and play park for the kids. It was quiet and in a handy location for the local pub, which is just up the path. The cabin itself, however, is in need of an upgrade, as the carpet has stains and the double bed needs replacing as it is scruffy and the drawers under it are broken and dusty. My daughters felt, however, that £187 for a weekend was good value, as it did sleep six. The kitchen was difficult as the cooker was old as was the fridge, so the shelf inside the door fell out when we put bottles in it. Having said that, there are sufficient pots and pans for cooking, but the cooker is small. The heating is included but is by electric heaters on the walls, plus storage heaters, which we didn't feel were particularly child friendly, especially the towel rail in the bathroom that got very hot. You also have to provide all linen for beds, as well as towels. So as you see a mixed bag. On a final positive, the owner was really helpful before we went and let us have a lunch check out on the Sunday. I think with a little TLC this place would be great, but my daughters would say it is worth the money.

“Fantastic Setting”
Reviewed 29 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed over the weekend, arrived late (really late!). However, we were given clear instructions on where our cabin was and how to get there. The cabin was spacious to accommodate all 6 of us, neat and tidy!
Overall a great stay, will definitely re-visit on our next trip to N. Wales.

“Pleasant Cabin in Beautiful location”
Reviewed 26 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend with our two kids and the in-laws. The cabin was comfortable for all 6 of us and the holiday park was in a beautiful location in easy reach of plenty of local attractions. We cycled by the lake, played on the park and took the Talyllyn railway to the beach at Tywyn. We would also highly recommend the local pub for Sunday lunch - I think I'm still digesting mine!
