We have been Club Intrawest owners since 2006, and visited two other resorts within the Club before coming to this one (Whistler & Palm Desert.) While they were nice, once we visited this club, we have never gone anywhere else.

First off, the resort is beautiful and in a great location, with a bay view to the north and a half mile trip south to the Gulf. There are plenty of things to do on property: there is a main swimming pool and a zero-entry kiddie pool that we used every day. The pool area also has hot tubs and a grilling area for cooking out. There is also a free-play arcade and exercise room on the main floor, as well as a small theatre where you can watch blu-rays and dvds. (If nothing is scheduled, the staff will happily play your own dvd, so you are not limited to what the resort has in its library.)

Besides the amenities at the resort itself, there is an entertainment district (Village of Baytowne Wharf) a very short walk from the resort. (And I mean a short walk. This trip we were with friends that had twin 1 year olds, and we were able to get there with our strollers in about 5 minutes.) There is also grocery and shopping right down the road, as this trip we decided not to eat out as often as usual and saved a nice amount of money there.

This is the third time we have been to this resort, and the staff has always been exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amy, the Club manager, is very hands on and we saw her multiple times during our stay. The club is currently adding a few new rooms on the ground level, and I even remarked during a past trip that while no one likes paying maintenance fees, it is nice to see noticeable upkeep and improvements being put into the property.

The only issue I have ever had here is that the parking garage entry is a little tight and the garage is on the smallish side. This didn't bother me as we actually used the outdoor parking this whole past trip.

All three of our trips have been absolutely fabulous, and it makes me a little sad writing this realizing that our next visit probably won't be until 2015. One recommendation I would make is it is worth the premium to get a Bayview room, as the higher floors have some amazing views.

Room Tip: Worth it to get a Bayview room. (Also, the Premier Lookout Tower room is huge and awesome, but is not the best for those with mobile small children. We stayed there 2 years ago and loved it, but my daughter was only 6 months then. She would have tried to climb the spiral staircase constantly if we booked that room this trip.)

Resort is very large encompassing numerous clubs yet it feels very comfortable. Beach is incredible with plenty of resort chairs supplied
My teenage children were able to roam the resort and enjoy themselves. The movie theatre allowed them to choose titles and then played the movie in the theatre. Awesome concept!!
We will return again

We have stayed at Club Intrawest Sandestin for three years in a row. We are keen tennis players and enjoy playing at the tennis club that is located 150 meters from Club Intrawest. My wife and I play singles together and take a few doubles clinics to improve our game. For golfers, there are 4 courses only a short drive away. We usually don't use a car because restaurants and shops are in walking distance and a tram service can take us to the beach about 5 minutes drive away. You can really relax at the resort and watch the wildlife. We recommend a sunset cruise that is available from the jetty about 200 meters from Intrawest. Although there is no restaurant at Intrawest, we just prepare meals in the kitchen in our unit or walk to the nearby restaurants.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the bay are worth the extra points.

A great timeshare with a fantastic staff. My wife and I live in timeshares full-time (52 weeks a year) since May 2012. This is the best timeshare we have stayed in. The service, staff friendliness, housekeeper and amenities were the best we have experienced. We stayed 6 weeks (June - Aug 2013) and had no problems. Great place to vacation!

We just got back from an amazing stay at Club Intrawest. My family absolutely loved this Resort. Our one bedroom unit was extremely large and had everything you could possible need. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The first mourning waiting for shuttle to beach they came up to my kids and offered free bogie boards to use. We had reserved for seven days but my wife couldn't get off work and we arrived two days late. They were very accommodating and had everything ready when we pulled up. Sandestin can be crazy in the summer and it was so nice to have the piece and quite of Club Intrawest in the middle of all the action. The valet line at Baytowne Wharf would be 40 minutes long and we would just stroll back to resort in 10 minutes. The entire property was so clean. The grills were spotless. Parking was so convenient under building. The kids loved the free arcade and Movie theatre. We can't wait to go back!
