Our authentic, Punjabi-style cuisine is meticulously prepared by one of the most talented Indian chefs in the UK and our unique combinations of food are certain to enchant even the most sophisticated palates. “Vegetarian set menu a rip off.”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Don't chose the vegetarian set menu if you are hungry. At £25 per person, it's expensive and the portions are too small. For example, they only gave us one miniscule naan bread and one portion of rice between 2 of us and the veg and lentil dishes were insufficient. We queried it with the waiter to no avail. I've also written and complained but they've not bothered to reply. Won't be going there again.

“Authentic Indian Food”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

I've eaten a number of times here. The food has always been excellent and presented very well. In the early days there were problems with service whilst staff learned the ropes, but this has been rectified. Pleasant atmosphere.

“Good food but a word of caution to coeliacs.”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

Visited with my coeliac husband. Made the usual checks before booking and were assured that we would be fine. But at the restaurant we were told that most dishes contained wheat and were given only 2 gluten free options. To the chef's credit he prepared DH's choice of main meal separately without gluten, but only after we complained. The waiter then brought DH's side order of bombay potatoes and told him that he couldn't eat it due to its gluten content!
Overall the food we had was well prepared and the waiter was helpful.
A shame that the evening was spoiled by the bad start that we had. We have never had such a problem with gluten in an Indian restaurant before.

“Modern Indian Food”
Reviewed 12 March 2014

The best Indian food I have ever eaten. Wonderful owner chef who always visits the tables at the end of the evening to check that everything has been ok. We even have take away we love the food so much.
The lamb chops as a starter, or the very large prawns are fantastic
As for the choice of curry and pulses wonderful.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 12 March 2014

We've been here several times now, and never had a bad dish yet. The food is served beautifully, with full attention to detail. Even my kids, who are not curry fans have enjoyed food here. The staff go out of their way to make your evening enjoyable, and ensure you are happy and have everything you need. The ambience created is welcoming, but has an intimate feel to it. We actually prefer to dine at one of the downstairs tables, as we were upstairs once on a really busy night, and it was a bit too noisy to have a quiet conversation.
