I actually feel bad about this, but there is not a fort by any normal definition of the word. There is a low rock masonry wall about 18" high facing the water. There are five small cannons. Our guide said that originally there was a single cannon at this site, and the others were placed at other strategic points to allow for cross fire. They were consolidated to make a better single tourist destination. There appears to be a permanent tee shirt vendor there as well. The view is quite nice, but this is (for most people anyway) not worth the effort to wak to, or the cost to get to by taxi.
