Been going to this restaurant for a few years now and the food and service is superb. We often just turn up, order our usual selection of fantastically prepared greek food and enjoy every bit of it. If you like greek and mediterranean food, this is the place and it won't break the bank either.

We ordered through Hungry House, two simple Lamb Kebabs, pricy for a delivery at £7.50 each and asked for delivery to be between 7.55pm and 8.10pm. They emailed us and said that it was delayed to 8.15pm. We could coupe with that. I was going to open the wine, heat the plate at 7.50pm to enjoy a good tasty exotic kebab treat after slaving in the kitchen with the family for turkey and more boring turkey. The food arrived at 7.30pm, really early, and we were not ready for it. Oh dear dear, I ordered the pitta to be served separately (otherwise the lamb would be greasy, dry and cold), I loathe raw onions and asked for no onions. Anyway, ALL and EVERY SINGLE ASPECT FAILED. Order time was wrong - 45 mins early, the pitta bread was cold and served with the kebab, horrible raw onions everywhere, and unfortunately the meat was not marinated, dry and tough. Portion was small, salads was tasteless. I will not order again - kebabs should be a treat. This was a terrible and bad experience, a total waste of money. Service was very very poor - on the delivery slip all my instruction about time, onions and pitta was printed clearly. Barnet is not great for takeaways but this is one of the worse for the price.

I have been here on a few occasions and it's probably one of the best experience in a restaurant you'll find in Barnet if not London. The food it absolutely stunning and the serve by all of the staff has been fantastic, I would hire them all on the spot. The wine I ordered was very tasty and it went with the fantastic food I had, hope they continue delivering superb serve and excellent food

We were looking for something different to our local tonight and stumbled on The Village Greek. Really happy we decided to have dinner here. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere lovely and relaxed. The food was really nice. I had the Moussaka with salad and my partner had the lamb kebab in a pita with salad. I will happily go back for the moussaka again. So nice and flavoursome and the salad was lovely bad fresh

I have ordered a take away delivery around three times and the food has always been great. I did have an issue with a delivery through hungry house but Paul the owner was very apologetic and gave me a discount on my next visit. Lamb Souvla and Roast potatoes were delicious. Next time I'm going to visit the restaurant for a sit down meal. Lovely food and lovely waitress/bar staff
