“Perfect in every way”

We were looking for a holiday cottage rental that would allow us to completely relax and enjoy the locality without too much driving. We had stayed at a different cottage 25 years ago in the same village and had always promised to return. We are so glad that we stayed at 'The Cottage'. It is everything we could have wished for. Beautifully and thoughtfully presented, it is a perfect blend of old and new. Light and airy plenty of space and very comfortable beds. It boasts a very spacious and well equipped kitchen/utility and dining area. The garden has a degree of privacy for enjoying cooked food on the brick built barbecue, afternoon tea etc. The cottage is a short walk from the local pub the Victoria inn. It is also very close the lovely beach and coastal paths. Parking at the cottage was tricky at times but not a big problem as there is plenty of space in the village to park and nowhere is far to walk. Will definitely be returning next year. Overall a perfect place for a completely relaxing holiday.

“Recommended holiday cottage”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We would thoroughly recommend this cottage for both it's facilities and as a quiet retreat in a lovely quiet location. We appreciated the fact that the cottage was within easy walking distance of the beach which had a couple of handy cafes. We would be happy to return at another time confident that we would enjoy our stay.

“Perfect,tranquil coastal cottage”
Reviewed 19 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We spent a wonderful week at The Cottage, which was very well equipped and comfortable. The garden was very nice to relax in after the coastal walks we were able to do in such good weather. We have been to Perranuthnoe about 6 years ago and it still retains the same charm, we particularly like the easy access to the coastal walks to Praa Sands and Marizon and beyond. The Victoria Inn is to be recommended for it's friendly service and excellent food. Hope to return.

“Cute, Cosy, Clean, and Authentic Cornish”
Reviewed 28 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

My husband and I travelled with our two small children and the cottage was perfectly set up for everything we needed. It was really clean and had a nice modern kitchen with all the right facilities and yet at the same time you could tell that the owners had tried to keep some of it's old charm with it's old pictures and books about Cornwall in the living room.
We would definitely recommend it as a comfortable place to be with toddlers because they had a portacot and stair gates, which meant we could relax and so could the girls.
We loved the big back garden and used the little outdoor BBQ and didn't have any problems parking out rental car out the front.
We also liked the fact that it was so central to everything we wanted to visit in the village and was a short walk to the beach.

Liked best: The long garden and the cosy front room.
Liked least: Wifi connectiving wasn't particularly good anywhere in the village but we managed to get access at the cottage using mobile phones.

“A fantastic cottage in a beautiful village! Great value for money.”
Reviewed 11 July 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We stayed in April/beg May (3 adults and 1 baby) and had a great stay. The cottage was perfect for us in every way and the whole booking process was simple and well organised. The price was also very reasonable compared to others we looked at.

We arrived late on our arrival day and with previous self catered cottages we have had to make beds ourselves on arrival. We paid an extra small fee for linen to be included but it was a lovely surprise to find the cottage immaculately made up for us (even including a travel cot with bedding). It was absolutely spotless and it looked just like the pictures on the website. It has a cosy feel but with plenty of space for us and location wise it couldn't be better. Anything we had forgotten was provided, the kitchen was modern and well equipped (and again spotless). It feels as though a lot of thought has gone into making sure you have everything you need. There was also a lovely enclosed garden.

It is literally just a few minutes walk from the beach which is absolutely beautiful and the village also has 2 great cafes. We liked Peppercorns in particular....amazing fresh homemade food and friendly staff....we would definitely recommend it. We had never been to Perranuthnoe before but it really is a little gem. It was a friendly little village with a couple of craft shops, cafes and a fantastic beach. But it is also a good central location to visit surrounding areas such as St Ives, Falmouth, Marazion etc.

We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to family and friends.
