Absolutely Fabulous! Woudn't hesitate to go back and also to recommend to all of our friends. Lindsay and Irvine were fabulous hosts and the Breakfast was fantastic. We even got Stornoway Black Pudding - Excellent! We would say that the accommodation was as good, if not better than a 5 Star Hotel. You were treated liked a friend, not a visitor. Definitely will return in the future. Also, the location was excellent for touring around the area.

Thanks again to Lindsay and Irvine for being so welcoming. Brilliant!

Room Tip: Both B & B rooms were first class.

A great overnight stay, would have been longer but Lindsay and Irvine were fully booked.
A delightful couple who go the extra mile, great accomodation, beautiful breakfast and a fantastic show garden to view. Would recommend without hesitation.

No one could ask for a more beautiful setting for accommodation. Stunning garden and lovely rooms with hosts who make you feel perfectly at home and also provide a very fine breakfast. We would all love to go back sometime.

Or best Scottish?
We felt relaxed here from the start. Great, personal welcome. Perfect room, and bathroom. Super linen and bed. Most comfortable accommodation right through. Excellent breakfasts.
But there are two extras which come at no additional cost. Firstly Lindsay and Irvine's hospitality, where they treat you like friends. Irvine's local knowledge is pretty total while Lindsay knows her horticulture. (They do overlap of course.) Now you might know what comes next...
Secondly this is a gardener's garden. It is something Irvine and Lindsay want for themselves. But it's also open to the public three days a week in the summer, and at other times. It is spectacular, and seems to behave well in four seasons. We were lucky as we saw the roses covering the side of the house.
We shouldn't be saying all this, because Inwood is going to be full, into the future.
Thank you: a B&B like a top hotel.

Many thanks Lindsay and Irvine for yet another fantastic stay at Inwood. The double room is the best, beautifully decorated with the large ensuite having a bath and separate shower. Lovely rooms and always spotlessly clean. Breakfast is perfect and your hosting skills great. See you another time.

Room Tip: Double room is the best

We can confirm all of the wonderful reviews. The setting, room, bathroom, breakfasts, garden… all beyond what we could have wanted. But the reason you need to stay here is because Lindsay and Irvine aren’t just friendly, they have a way of making you feel like long lost friends! You know they are doing something right when one of our favorite memories from 8 nights in Scotland was just hanging out getting to know this fun couple!

The park and ride to Edinburgh is very handy and was a breeze. Their suggestions for dinner were spot on. And a side trip up through North Berwick was the perfect thing before heading back to Glasgow for the flight home.

We have just come back from a week in Scotland and finished our holiday in a unique b&b run
by Lindsay and Irvine. I found it on line and was very impressed but had not the expectations that greeted us, wonderful, wonderful people they work so hard at making everything so perfect for you. The breakfast was absolutely superb , the bedroom was divine the gardens were a little Eden and the "Spring watch" was an added bonus, I could just go on and on, excellent isn't enough.
