Our second visit to the refurbished Atlantis Hotel was for a Saturday lunch, our final meal of the week before flying home. The place was busy with both locals and tourists, creating a happy and lively atmosphere; the wind buffeting the shutters gave it a distinctive East coast Barbados feel too! We shared a seafood tasting platter for starters, with a delightful mixture of textures and flavours. The kingfish main dish was excellent; hearty grilled fillets with a pineapple salsa and breadfruit chips. My wife's chicken and risotto was also greatly enjoyed. The owners and staff have done a great job of creating a restaurant every bit as good as the sister restaurant Fish Pot, but with a distinct style of its own.
