A truly magical place...it opens up as much as you want to see birds fly by and in and out the house, hear the waves, see the bats, hear the wind. I love it because I'm biased. I loved it at first sight. It's a special place with beautiful
artwork and a book collection that makes me wish I was staying longer.
Big American fridge nice and cool. Nespresso machine. The hob and kettle worked fine. Plenty of utensils. YES you need a 4x4. It has wifi.
Talking Trees is located out of the way, yet close to a bus route (even though a vehicle is advised). You're surrounded by nature, greenery and animals varying from the birds that fly through the house to the monkeys that swing through, the mongooses and others. The house is beautifully designed with interesting art and the view..the view...from almost everywhere in the house, to say nothing of the exposed upper deck. Beaches closeby and the rock pools at Bathsheba, as well as being a surfer's paradise. It was lovely..we'll come back.
Perfect spot if you want to see local wildlife. Mongoose, monkeys, lizard's etc. Very open space with great views all around. Drank alot of coconuts from nearby trees. In-between calm Bath beach that has hiking and rough Bathsheba that has surfing. Perfect to relax or to have an adventure the choice is yours. I would only stay here if I come to Barbados again. I recommend renting a Jeep.
Beautiful peaceful house with a spectacular view over the ocean and nice surroundings.
We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time far from tourist crowds.
