“Lovely”
Reviewed 29 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay at The Barn to celebrate our son's first birthday and with our dog too. It has been beautifully renovated and really has a wow factor. It is perfectly equipped and very cosy. There is a lovely view of the sea from upstairs and it is in a great location with a lovely coastal walk right from the property. The local pub just 1 minute walk away is ok too. Jay and Mark were great hosts and we look forward to returning later in the year.

“Fabulous!!”
Reviewed 29 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

We stay on the island every January to celebrate (?) my birthday and to have a peaceful, well-deserved break after Christmas & New Year.
This was the most perfect place we have stayed. Its well laid out & comfortable, has everything you could possibly want in the kitchen, a good-sized bathroom downstairs (together with a loo & sink upstairs for those middle of the night trips), off road secure parking, a lovely garden and a view of the sea from the main bedroom. We didn't use the second bedroom, so can't comment on that.
The location is great with St Catherine's Lighthouse & beautiful clifftop walks a few hundred yards away and some village shops too.
There is a pub in the village which is about 2 minutes walk away. Its a lovely place for a drink and meeting new friends, there are log fires and it is very olde worlde. The food is OK, but nothing special, so would recommend it for drinking/relaxing more than eating.
The island is a small place, so wherever you stay, everything is a relatively short drive away, so I would highly recommend this place as a perfect base for exploring & coming 'home' to at the end of a day.
We had two dogs with us & the secure garden & large entrance hall/boot room was a massive added bonus.
Book it, you won't be disappointed!

“The most perfct self catering experience”
Reviewed 8 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Just spent ten days over Christmas and New Year at this beautifully converted barn situated in one of the prettiest villages on the IOW. The barn is fully equipped including a wood burning stove, is very comfortable, warm and welcoming. It has its own private garden with patio, table and chairs, which, given the time of year, we were unable to utilise. If you like walking there are many good walks from Niton, which also has a good family supermarket, tea room, pharmacy, newsagent and post office, and of course the Buddle Inn just round the corner from the barn. We will definitely be returning to the barn and would highly recommend it for families as well as couples.

“Lovely Barn”
Reviewed 5 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Lovely secluded position within Niton and just a 30 second stroll round to the Buddle Inn which serves really nice food all with a great view out to sea.

Spotlessly clean and the garden was gorgeous - perfect for our little one to run around in.

The teabags and milk were a very welcome sight on arrival! Also loved the little touches such as freshly picked flowers on the table and lots of games to play too.

“Faultless holiday”
Reviewed 7 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed for a short break at the Barn, with our son and his partner. The Barn was excellent -- very well appointed and equipped, with everything we needed. Also the weather was good enough to make full use of the garden area. Jay and Mark were extremely welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. And the location -- a few hundred yards from the most southerly point on the Island, with walks literally from the front door -- was superb. We will certainly stay here again.

“What would be our Perfect Home!!! ”
Reviewed 23 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This place is absolutely beautiful. Definitely 5* from us. From the moment you open the barn doors you realise just how lovely the place is. Everything is well kept, lovely log burner, nice garden and you'll have everything you need for a great retreat. Beautiful surroundings great walks, a lovely little smugglers pub, The Buddle inn just minutes walk away and your look forward to returning back to this lovely Barn every night. A Home from Home!!! Jay, one of the Owners was lovely, always quick to reply to emails or even a phone call when booking. The only thing was I worried about was the way you have to pay, good old fashioned cheque or bank transfer. But don't worry it's easily done and like I said Jay was always quick with a reply to make you feel at ease. Genuinely mine and my Fiancé s favourite place. Beautiful. Oh how can I forget sea views from the bedrooms
