Bought as a present for my boyfriend. This was run across a section of the motorbike offroading section at Mallory Park.
Whilst we left the session unscathed, there were several people in our session, and the one before who had suffered minor injuries such as cuts and grazes. There were two proper injuries in the session, the first being a woman who had just had a knee operation and had fallen off awkwardly, the second being a man who ended up being taken to hospital in an ambulance as he had a history of back problems and had fallen off at speed.
The group we were in was quite large (approximately 16 people) and the people running the session didn't really have much control over the group mainly due to the fact that the segways weren't the easiest thing to control and the instructions as to what to do weren't consistent.
Remember, if you are going to try and battle a Segway, the Segway will win, it is has self preservation as its primary goal!
Whilst it hasn't completely put me off using Segways, I don't think I would go here again.
