Guess they know there is nowhere else to eat in Crondall. Meal was good, but on the pricey side. Service was good.

A good pub to stop at when out for a country walk. There was a good selection of specials but we only wanted a lunch-time snack. I had the croquet monsieur and it was delicious. There was a good selection of wines by the glass. The gentleman at the next table had two of the specials ( starter and main) - they looked very appetising and judging by the way he polished them off, they tasted as good as they looked.

Beautiful place in lovely village village...rooms were very clean but slightly on small side but we managed ok. Meals were well presented and plentiful.. we thought that when we booked our rooms breakfast was included, but apparently if you book through another website they are not,
so hence having to pay for them seperatley. Would stay there again if in the area.

We stayed here for a week whilst attending a course in Fleet and could't have been more pleased. The pub, staff, food. ales and wine were all fantastic quality and, bearing in mind where you are, reasonably priced. The only downsides for us were that the room was very small (I think they all are) and if you have breakfast it is £10 per person regardless of whether you have a full English or just toast and coffee. If that is a concern then maybe eat breakfast out, there is no shortage of cafes etc. in Fleet.

Excellent menu and specials, smiling, helpful waitresses ...my fish allergy understood and worked around, delicious Caesar salad and excellent service. Will definitely be returning.
