Just came back!this is paradise on earth!very tastefully. Decorated,on the ocean, great service, private and ideal for honeymooners.would not hesitate to recommend itit is 3 hours from PuertoVallarta, but the resort afford transfers for a fee,and it is advisable to use it,as the roads out of the city are not well kept

Room Tip: If in budget, ocean front ,spectacular view, can hear waves

Dear Guest: We couldn't agree more: Las Alamandas is a honeymooner’s paradise! As you suggested, using our private transfer service from both Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and Manzanillo Airports (ZLO) is the most comfortable way to travel. Another option, if budget permits, is air transfers directly to Las Alamandas, since our property has a private airstrip. You’re absolutely right about the oceanfront villas: views are spectacular, and the sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep. Sweet dreams in Paradise!

With warm regards,

This place reminds you of how life can be when you're able to get away from the daily grind...! A little private Utopia on Earth - a hotel/estate where you can commune with the beauty of Nature and recharge the batteries....Its ideal for reminding oneself of what Life is really all about - the joy of Living itself and the power of unspoilt, unexploited Beauty. It's a place where 'just being' each day becomes a meditation on Higher Consciousness - whether you are aware of it or not!

You awake each morning to the soothing and cathartic rhythm of waves gently breaking on shore, you notice a yellow butterfly dance around the Alamandas flowers as you walk to the 'Palapa' for fresh mango and papya from the organic farm on the estate, you ask for whatever you need to eat and drink and its provided...freshly grown or farmed locally...and its brought over with a smile...

As there aren't too many rooms on the property, you dont seem to come across too many others staying at the hotel - but fellow guests I've found to generally be like-minded souls looking to 'get away from it all'...and its perfectly possible to bump into more descrete 'A' listers or billionaires who know the 'best kept secret' of where to get away from it all and dont want to spoil that by letting their friends 'in on it'!

The place is equally set up for romance, (e.g. a cliff top candle lit dinner can be arranged), solo creative people, friends or family groups...there are so many wholesome activities to enjoy from kyaking on the lagoon, to birdwatching, boogie-boarding, beach walking or taking the hotel boat out along the river and see the local fishermen out at sea or even catch a glimpse of the migrating humpback whales....

Generally I think the guests in the beach front villas take it easy and doing nothing but enjoying existing in the private jacuzzi or private pool!!!

More recently, there has been added a new, extremely cool 'star gazing bar' and art gallery with revolving shows of mexican artists including some incredible Huichol Indian Needworks showing Shamanic Peote Ceremonies...

Alamandas is really is out of this world - a place where magic happens and you'll find yourself wanting to go back again and again, and each time you will discover something new and inspiring to explore...

Everything has been thought of to give clients rare and sophisticated travel experiences - where no detail has not been considered and managed to provide you with something that you can peaceful allow to become part of who are...

Room Tip: Presidential Suite or beach front villas definitely worth it....but each room has something unique a...

Definitely Paradise on earth...
Gorgeous views.
Breathtaking sunset.
Amazing nature, perfect service, with a crew of amazing mexican employees.
I have travelled extensively but this place is really the best ever.
However the ride to arrive there is quiet complicated and bumpy...
An airport is planned for the next couple years and it would be perfect then.
The ocean coulld be a little rough but it is gorgeous and clean.
Everything is done in the best taste: colors, furniture, flowers, art in the rooms , the library, the dining room.
Even the choices of articles in the boutique are beautiful.
I would love to be able to return to this resort!

Room Tip: We were staying in the San Miguel suite, very nice and confortable with great gardens and partial oce...

If anyone tells you las alamandas is like paradise they are lying. THIS PLACE TRULY IS PARADISE. Words cannot adequately describe this place. It is the nicest place I have ever seen. It is magical, beautiful and incredibly private. If anyone tells you that there is no such thing as four seasons service in mexico they have not been to las alamandas. The service is remarkable. The incredible staff have one goal in mind and that is to make your stay incredible. The private beaches are magnificent. Wine and cheese at sunset point, a romantic candle lit dinner, a by the ocean couples massage could not be improved.
I must say if I ever went back to St. Barts (and I don't think i ever would) it would have a bahamas type feel next to las alamandas.
There is only one terrible thing about las alamandas; leaving.

I could not stop smiling form the moment we arrived! The setting is beautiful and attention to detail incredible. The staff are very friendly, helpful and make you feel as though you are staying in your own personal paradise. Pure relaxation guaranteed! Go on a horseback ride along one of the amazing virgin beaches & take a tour of the reserve to appreciate the surrounding area and wildlife. A trip to nearby Punta Perula is recommended also. It's been called "One of the most romantic places on earth" I definitely agree!

My husband recently surprised me with a trip to Las Alamandas for my birthday. What a stunning place, service and location. We were greeted by 3 wonderful and welcoming staff to a room with beautiful bouquets of flowers and a delicous margarita. We were blown away by the stunning beaches, we drove around the entire property and visited each virgen beach. We had a wonderful candlelit dinner on the beach, followed by a visit from the chef with my birthday cake. Pablo was our very sweet and attentive server for the weekend and we really appreciated his service. Highly Recommended!
