We stayed here with our infant son and nothing was any trouble for Diane, she made sure every part of our stay was perfect. The double room was large with everything we needed supplied, it also had an en-suite which was lovely and clean. The sea view was amazing and you can sea the sea whilst lying in bed! Breakfast was perfect and Diane was lovely and attentive throughout the stay. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this b&b.

Diane made us very welcome and had been very helpful when I called to book, recommending the Lighthouse restaurant just down the road. The children enjoyed playing on the grass out the front which is right across the road from the sea. We had a great sunny evening which I know makes a difference, but it truly is a beautiful place to stay. Comprehensive choice and flexibility for breakfast where fussy children and hungry adults both need satisfying and Diane managed very well. We were travelling as a family of 5 so Diane set up a spare bed in the twin room and there was still plenty of room for the 3 children in there, they had a private bathroom just outside the door, we were in the Double en-suite. The fact that we were able to take both rooms and that there would therefore be no other guests also appealed to me as we could easily leave our door ajar and know that the children could wonder in to us safely when they woke in the morning. If we go to Arran again this is where we will stay.

A very pleasant 1 night stay. Beautiful room, great view, very warm welcome, fantastic breakfast. Lots of attention to detail, lots of nice touches. One of the best b+b's we've stayed in. Looking forward to coming back...

I absolutely agree with all previous comments on the lovely rooms and Diane. Our 4 night stay was full of the most endearing details.

We had picked a flower during one of our walks which I had unceremoniously deposited on the windowsill. When we returned to our room the next day, Diane had placed it in a vase with water so we could enjoy it's beauty for our entire stay. This was my favourite moment and stands for how cared for we felt during our time at Diane's place.

I am intolerant to gluten and not too keen on fully cooked breakfast but there was still plenty for me to choose from in the morning i. e. yoghurt, fresh and dried fruit and seeds. Diane even offered to buy anything else I may want, however this was simply not necessary. I have no doubt that this B&B is perfect for anyone with special dietary requirements, especially if you let Diane know in advance.

4 stars for 'location' as a warning for people travelling without a car, buses run every 2 hrs at peak times!

Stayed 5 nights in May. Perfect location on the quiet west coast of the island and within 50 yards of a really good restaurant, The Lighthouse.
I had a twin bedded troom and private bathroom which would equal if not surpass anything in a 4 star hotel. The room and bathroom were up a private stair from the main staircase and so were as good as en suite. Decor was really good, bed comfortable and the views over the sea superb. Plenty of private parking space and only a short stroll to one of the paths up Beinn Bharrain followed by a pleasant ridge walk.
Really relaxing stay with a good choice at breakfast (you choose the previous night). Nice table outside to sit at towards the end of the day with a glass of wine and admire the view.

Room Tip: Both rooms face the front so enjoy the views

As others have said, the room was very comfortable and very well decorated and maintained; Diane was a perfect hostess and breakfast was delicious. But that's not all. Out of the window at breakfast was a bird table that had attracted not only a fine selection of pretty little birds, but also a red squirrel! The view over to the Kintyre peninsula was also fine, if not as surprising or delightful as the squirrel. I gave up hoping to see Nutkin years ago. What a joy!

No fuss, no hastle. Come and go as we pleased, couldn't ask for better. Dianne was absolutely brilliant. Could not have met a nicer person.

Facilities great. With on suite bathroom breakfast was always great.

Definitely planning on returning.
