We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Menta in July, and whilst we were expecting a lot having seen the photos and descriptions online, it was even better than we'd ever imagined.
The house is not only large, but immaculate, and build in a way that gives you complete privacy, so you can enjoy the very large pool in peace and quiet.
Whilst the layout with the bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen upstairs seems a little strange, when you get up in the morning and go for a swim before breakfast you'll appreciate it. And during meal times you get the best view in town!
The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, there's plenty of storage in the bedrooms, and air-conditioning throughout if things get a little too hot.
I stayed at middle villa (I think this one had the best view!) for 5 nights with my girlfriend and another couple. It was exactly like the pictures, if not better. Truly stunning location! The villa was clean and spacious (3 bedroom) with a great indoor and 2 outdoor eating areas, either on the patio or on the roof terrace. We mostly used the BBQ and cooked up a storm! Amazing infinity pool, with amazing view of bay and other islands. Sivota is a quiet little bay with a few tavernas and a supermarket, mostly for boats that moor up there. You will definitely need a car, we hired from Broumis Car Hire based in Nidri. Great service. Use the location on the map provided on this listing to find your way there, as it was a bit tricky to find first time round. Special mention to Mr Timo who looked after us, keeping the pool clean and switching off the outside lights when we forgot! A true gentleman regardless of his very limited English! I would definitely stay here again. Heaven!
This stylish villa is very well equipped, including satellite TV and Internet. The views are beautiful overlooking Sivota which is approx 15 mins walk down the hill. Half of the walk is a trough track so if you are infirm a car may be best. The conceirge lives just next door and is attentive cleaning the pool daily.
We enjoyed the walk into Sivota for coffee or dinner. It is a lovely village which many tavernas, coffee places, a few shops with local produce and a lovely bakery.
A torch would be useful for the evening walk, although the moon and stars are bright.
We would recommend this villa.
I would like to thank Panayiotis for his hospitality. The house was clean and everything was perfect. The house was surrounded with trees and there was amazing view to the Sivota bay. I would definitely recommend this property for your vacation.
