I enjoyed very much staying at the Pinfield Hotel for a Saturday night in June. Location is good, in the country, but not far from a cute pub (The Fox and Pheasant), which a is five minutes' drive or about 20 minutes' walk. A nice small hotel with a pretty garden at the back, tastefully decorated both in the rooms and the public areas, without feeling cluttered. Breakfast was fantastic, and service exceptional. Despite forgetting to order cooked breakfast the night before, the owner and his wife went out of their way to prepare it for us, and it was delicious. They also gave us good advice for parks nearby to spend our sunny Sunday in. The room was spotlessly clean, but a bit on the small side. The bathroom, on the other hand, was very comfortable, though I'm not convinced by the carpet on its floor. Overall, a lovely stay. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area!
